Santeria experts only...what is the meaning of a pigeon sacrifice?

At least that's what I think it was, though I may just be paranoid. Today, I found a bunch of gray and white feathers in a circular shape in my mom's backyard (no actual bird, though). The house is empty right now, and we go check on it every week or so. That makes it hard to keep tabs on anyone jumping in my yard. But what worries me is that a few weeks ago, I had to file a police report because I found a big, circular burn mark on the concrete slab where the patio table is (same yard). I immediately thought - Santeria. Then again, could it just have been a cat that fought a pigeon...and won? Or, do you think I'm right...and if so, what kind of ritual do you think they could have been doing?

BTW, I have a neighbor who is a Santero, and he is mad at me right now....so, I've always had a gut feeling that he is behind this. Am I being paranoid? Please let me know what you think! Thank you!

People sacrifice animals to the Krisha's, the deities of Santeria. It's probably nothing to worry about. If a cat ate the pigeon, the feathers would be more disordered, scattered and bloody. Ask the Santero why is he angry with you and try to resolve the problem.
