I'm not sure about Santeria. But Wicca is quite a young religion. It was formed in the late 1940s.

It, however, is based upon the blending together of many Pagan gods which Prue-date Christianity.

Wicca has only been around since the 50s.

Santeria is mentioned in ethnographers Prue-dating WWI. Wicca is contemporaneous with WWII.

Depends on who you talk to. I don't follow the Gardenarian beliefs (one branch of Wicca) which started growing around the 50's (I think, don't have my notes in front of me) and I took up a much older set of beliefs which are also considered Wicca. (It is after all an umbrella name for many paths and beliefs) I am also not Neo anything. I do know that Santeria is older than the beliefs of Gardener's group. Good luck in getting people who actually understand that.
