Default Have you (or anyone you know) been a "victim" of Santeria witchcraft?

If yes...please say what happened. If no..please tell any information you have about it. Thanks!
PD..and that's why I forgive you for the skeptical answers you always post.! I know you can't help it.
Mr. P...Not knowing anything about witchcraft..I told a woman "Maybe I should send it back to the one who sent it" and she said "Oh NO!!"...That should have been a clue!!
Raven..I have no intention of working with them.
john dean...I can't remember ever wishing evil on anyone and I wasn't involved in witchcraft..only church prayer..praying for good for all. These people misunderstood me & did horrible things to me. Guess what! They got promoted and got blessed. Guess I shouldn't have prayed for good for them.
john dean...I put out blessings and got back curses. Go figure!

I have a cautionary tale - I know someone who tried to put a death spell on Simone, went to a Santeria person and got a formula for using a cow tongue buried in a freshly dug grave. Since the universe if full of coincidence - the curse backfired and the person who was the target is still alive, the niece of the person trying to cast the spell (who happened to be the granddaughter of the target) died at her own hand.

I warned the person not to engage in that sort of thing since my own mother believed in it. I told that person that Santeria is not for the uninitiated and the spells tend to backfire when you don't believe and try to use them for harm

I believe that I cannot be harmed because my mother would have given protection from evil to her children. She paid a heavy price that protection. No, I am not a practitioner... I am by default part of that culture though.

Santeria witchcraft is akin to hoodoo. It is, in my humble opinion, no better or worse than any other form of witchcraft.
Would you ask someone if they had been a "victim" of traditional witchcraft?
The ability to harm is inherent in any kind of magic, not just the lesser known kinds. That ability comes from the heart of the caster.
Magic is energy. You change and manipulate said energy to create and effect changes. Those changes could be either good or bad. It is you as a caster that has to live with and deal with the consequences of your actions.
You should be treating any and all branches of magic with respect if you intend working with them.
Just my humble take on it anyways.

I suppose each area has it's special names.
I remember a tale from Cassandra in Cornwall. She went to visit a village in India at their request - because the local witchdoctor had cursed them.
She went out and found it was indeed coming from him. After protection and removal of this, the people were a lot happier and thanked her when she left. She did not charge for her service to them.

She received a message from the village elders on her return. Apparently the witchdoctor had died in his sleep.

When you send out negative energy - and it bounces, it often comes back harder on yourself. Which is why we don't do it.

reading your additional details, you wouldn't have to send it back.... the "threefold law" in Wicca states whatever energy you send out comes back threefold.... bad energy out, bad energy in.

FYI Santeria isn't JUST for bad... hoodoo and the like is almost rarely used for bad purposes... mainly for healing. they also believe in very strong connections with their ancestors. i hope you didn't piss off the wrong person! just remember they are suffering/will suffer as well.
