Was this a santeria ritual I found in the river?

My boyfriend found a paper bad on the banks of the HIllsborough river in Tampa, Fl. Inside was a plastic bag with four coconuts each also wrapped in their own plastic bag. Inside each bag was one whole unbroken coconut, two kernels of dried corn, two pennies and a Burt tea light candle. Does anyone know what this is or what it means?

I do not know what it means but i do know that it is something that you do not mess with,hope you did not take it apart,it was a ritual but sounds more like wick en.

Yes it means that someone lost their lives.. And if I were you I would burn what you found and toss the ashes back into the river.... But I know you won't listen.. So I guess that you will have to come by the truth the very hard way....................... Because even they had enough sense to get rid of that cursed material.... But you will find that out soon enough.............

Sounds like it may be. I doubt it was "cursed" though, as a previous user answered. I believe by the materials used it was most likely a positive ritual.


But yeah, try to resist the urge to ever touch and explore any crap you come across like that.

Hi , uh it sounds like a thing with Ochun the Saint or Guardian of the river , all you have to do is put it back in the river and that's it , no thin bad will happen to you just put it back , it could be an ebb , an ebb is something babblesOSr santeros do for many different things may it be a cleansing , an offering , or whatever .
