The practice of magic is spoken against in the Bible:
(Leviticus 19:26) .?.?.??YOU must not look for omens, and YOU must not practice magic.
(Deuteronomy 18:10) There should not be found in you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, anyone who employs divination, a practice of magic or anyone who looks for omens or a sorcerer,
yes it does, but that doesn't stop Christians from doing it anyways. They think they can do whatever they want, because they are saved by Jesus. Jesus wont save them, because most of them are bad people.
Sinoring Verigood or whatever said it right. Christianity will absorb anything. Santeria is a composite of natural beliefs and old Catholic stuff. If you look at the Catholic church it's just a bunch of pagan rituals anyway. Mea clap, Mae clap.
"There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead..." -- Deuteronomy 18: 10 - 11
