no its not, its a VERY relaxing (to me anyway) thing. The acupuncture points on your body are tapped and you can sometimes feel the results, its very positive.

Good question. I have been looking at it with some interest, but certain statements it makes and certain treatments it advocates sniff of the occult.

Most definitely not. Not unless one considers acupuncture and meridian points to have spiritualistic/occult/Santeria connections. One needs to believe in nothing at all in particular to practice or receive it. In learning it, no religious or spiritual references were ever mentioned.
