Does santeria work? Serious answers please.?

If you get a cleansing by a Santeria does it work. Just out of curiosity because I hear alto of it.

I think magic in all forms is a beautiful thing as long as you use it with good intention.

my friends ex wife plays with it and almost killed there son by puffer fish poison they pronounced him dead but by the time he got to the hospital he was alive and he told me the story and i had told him about a TV show i watched where they used puffer fish poison and the people were buried alive i would imagine they wouldn't go into rigidities so you may be able to tell they are still alive but i am not sure its not

It may have some psychological effect, but there is no difference in verifiable reality. It is just as respectable as any religion, IMHO.
