Did someone put a Santeria spell on my home?!?

Hello,

This morning under my moms car there was a brown paper bag with a dead chicken inside of it. I live in south Miami and Santeria is very common. It's not uncommon to see dead chickens on the road and people wearing their beads.... however i am obviously very concerned that my family may be at risk. We are good people and have never done anyone any intentional harm...

We are Catholic and believe in Jesus Christ. I have already poured ammonia over the spot on the driveway and over the chicken (its in the garbage now) and i said a quick prayer over our door with holy water.

what is this? how concerned should i be?!

side note: We have an idea of who it could be...

If you live in Texas, then, most likely yes. They just legalized goat sacrifice for Santeria spells.

they obviously were offering you a friendly offering of their livestock.

This is just my personal view: spells that involve cursing or hexing someone don't work if that person doesn't believe in it. I don't know much about Santeria to be honest. But it sounds like you think it's a curse or a hex....as long as you know it can't harm you your fine. However, I would suggest maybe reading up on Santeria to see what it is. It could appear to be one thing but be something completely different.

Really don't put much stock in curses. If you refuse to let them affect your life they have no power.

You say you are good people and you never did any harm to anyone and yet you have an idea who may have put a spell on your family? Hmmm... Anyways, I say it may be just exactly what it looks like it is, a dead chicken in a bag. Is there any other indication that it has been part of a ritual before? If not, the ammonia and holy water should do...
