I dint know about New Orleans but I do practice Haitian Vodou in Ohio

Hardly any. There is a thriving "Voodoo" industry for tourists with lots of shops and a "museum", However, it is for tourists. They would be "Druids" worshiping trees if there was money to be made doing that.

I do - after learning in NOLA, I practice Voodoo and Hoodoo at home in Illinois. There is a botanic for Santerians in my neighborhood too. You would be surprised at the number of practicing believers.
