i mean the vampire creed says "I worship my ego and I worship my life, for I am the only God that is", but with out Satan where would they get there powers. so does that mean that the vampires somehow are also connected to Satanism.
Some vampires may follow a creed, but they don't all follow it. Vampires are humans that have been turned, and like humans they vary wildly in their beliefs.
First of all, by mentioning that creed, I see you're talking about the organization called Temple of the Vampire. Regarding Satanism: Satanism is NOT devil worship, but a non-theistic religion based on Hyman's carnal nature. It was established with the formation of the Church of Satan in the 1960s; before that there was no actual religion called "Satanism".
Now that I've cleared that up...NEITHER organization believes in a literal "Satan" or that personal "powers" that must be attributed to some deity. So that's a non-issue.
But I guess to answer your question: you CAN be a member of both organizations. I have several friends who are in both. There is nothing in one organization's tenets that *inherently* contradicts the other, so although they're two completely different organizations, totally independent of each other, neither has a policy that states you can't join the other organization. Just as somebody could belong to, say, both the American Legion and Mensa.
However, this isn't to say that all members of the ToV agree with the CoS, and vice-verse. For example, I personally am a member of the COS yet I think the TOV is a joke.
No. Completely different systems of belief. One cannot believe in Satan if one does not believe in a god, for a start, as one is the antithesis of the other. Vampires are more philosophically aligned with nihilism. A vampire's "powers" are a virtue of the infection they have (vampires) and is passed from one vampire to the ones he/she creates through the blood.
To be really certain of this, I would begin by looking more into 'The Vampire Bible', which appears to be the text they follow in this matter. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy, so I can't be sure.
I can tell you that most Christians would consider them to be Satanists, as most Christians consider anything non-Christian to be Satanist (as per 'if you are not for me, you are against me'), and the Vampires that adhere to that creed seem to be categorically denying the claims of Christianity.
(For those of you who do not know the vampires referred to here, please see the source link.)
You actually believe in vampires?? Other than the garden-variety bats called that which are found in nature, and have nothing to do with the supernatural and transformations, coffins, wooden stakes, etc.? LOL!! This question was meant as a joke, right?
According to the vampire creed '...I am the only god that is' can only be interpreted in one way so it literally means that no other god or all-powerful being exists. Ipso factor neither god or Satan are recognized so vampires cannot be satanic.
