The virtue of the Devil is in his loins, truly it is. Satan has liberated me, and help me to abandon my guilt and embrace my life without reprisal from any form of judgment. God is a hateful and sadistic being that torments us with laws and judgments. Satan has encouraged every single bit of potential in humanity since we became human. He doesn't care about being praised, he doesn't care about being worshiped. His only purpose is to bring the light to those who must see the death and filth around them. God is a Sociopath, who rapes a woman and forces her to submit to him. That's what he does to humanity, force us to love him or be damned. Damnation is far more liberating when you have no sense of guilt, or no fear of death.
For those of you who come here and evangelize. Now you know what you look like to others.
I am sad that Christianity has a very different view to people such as you, for God is absolutely NOT at all as you say. He doesn't force people into anything.
But since you do not seem to really want to learn about the beauty of Christianity, I shall not waste your time and mine by giving a long explanation.
This does sound like LaVey's material. At least, some of it. I am not familiar with all of his material.
LaVey was very good at pointing out some of the issues that Christians overlook because they are so busy quoting the bible and looking for justification for their actions, rather than admitting that there are things that have been done in the name of ignorance.
His best teaching was - it's OK NOT to be Christian. We don't HAVE TO follow what society dictates. Society is not always right. Christianity is not appropriate for all and that we can question those things that we have long been told we can not question.
It is also true that, for a man who was once a professional lion tamer and photographer and has a life history that is as amusing as it is interesting, he had some insights that are worth looking at, as well as some junk. But isn't that the way with all authors?
