If you think about it, doesn't Satanism seem like the religion to choose over others?
I mean, if there is a god, why doesn't he take action on people, why doesn't he help people when they need it? But the devil on the other hand, does take action, he posses es people, so shouldn't we be on his side since we actually know that he does stuff to people here on earth? I mean, I seriously doubt any of us has seen "god" in action...But I'm pretty sure we've all at least heard of Satan taking over people's minds...
The easy path which many choose lead to hell but the narrow path few people choose will lead them to eternal life.
God isn't easy to find, you need to seek him with all Ur heart Cox once u finally find him u find eternal life. Satan wants u to fall in love with him so he can meet u in hell.
Satan is the flip side of god. i dint think Satan is anything at all really, its a personification of evil, it isn't a person of any sort. but then i dint want to be associated with any of it. I'm happy being what i am.
Actually, I really don't understand way people become Satanists because all people belong to Satan unless and until they accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. You don't have to CHOOSE Satan, you are already his weather you choose it or not.

That is exactly what Satan wants you to think. You have been tempted and seem to be giving in. There are many people who have seen God in action. All you have to do is believe and you will see for yourself.

Satanism doesn't REALLY worship Satan. Satan is just a figurehead to represent the ethos of their religion. Satan represents rebellion and non-conformity, much like Loki and other gods of mischief. Satan was chosen as the name because he is the most well-known among western civilization. FYI, satanism is an atheist religion - they don't worship, they follow a code.

first off, Satanism has absolutely nothing to do with this Satan fellow. It's actually a worship ping of yourself; you are your own god. There's no such thing as Satan, but you'll hear many people declare "Hail Satan" in reference to themselves.
Read about religions, then put your mind to asking something that's actually decently plotted in the event that you are confused about something.

Satanists don't actually believe in the devil. Symbolic Satanists see Satan as a symbol of different things none of which are "evil". Satanism is a religion of the self, meaning that to help yourself you can also help others. The "Golden Rule" of Satanism is something like "do what you want as long as you hurt no undeserving person" as I have heard it. Most Satanists, I think, don't actually worship Satan.
But, if I did believe in Satan as a deity (because I realize what Satan really is and I respect Satan) then I think I'd side with Satan. Much more interesting than god!
This is an absolutely great question. I could elaborate quite deeply on this subject but won't. In summary, here is the chain of events. First of all, NO ONE, not even Satanists, Atheists, Agnostics, or Quantum Physicists have ever stated that anything, other than a God like entity created the Universe. So, by this argument alone, I believe I have negated your assumption that God has not been "in action". I assume you will agree with this argument or the converse; the devil or ones self did not create the Universe. The rest of the answer is in this riddle; What is the only way for someone to create darkness in a totally illuminated environment free of anything to block the light and no way to turn off the light source? Once you answer this riddle, you will realize that the devil does not exist, and this will really rock your world. Therefore, your only choice is to question God's existence. One more thing, I believe the religion of Science has done more to create action than any other religion, but that doesn't make it the one to choose over others..don't you agree. How about a religion of NO religion?

God helps me all of the time. He always answers my prayers, sometimes I do not like the answer and sometimes I have to wait till the right time, but he always answers.
Satanism falls into two groups, the more common group is also the least intelligent, these are 'wanna be' Devil worshipers who think its hip or cool and want free power to please themselves.
The more elite group actually have a philosophical culture and system of morality that is reasonably well developed if contrary to what most people would describe as a system of morals. They believe in self-empowerment and taking all matters into their own hands. Not a bad idea, except that they condone murdering people and actually advise that we murder anyone who offends us twice. (They advise giving a warning for the first offense because one warning to the wise should be sufficient.)
The former sort of Satanism is misguided and mostly harmless, just people playing at being evil. If they can acquire any spiritual knowledge and growth along that path then God bless them because it isn't an easy path to follow to grow and develop our qualities as human beings.
The latter form of Satanism is well thought out and rational but it denies love of anyone but ourselves. So this is also not a very easy path to achieve spiritual enlightenment and growth upon.
However, these paths do suit some people and some people do find spiritual growth upon them.
Not my cuppa, but neither am I inclined to condemn Antone's choice of spiritual paths. That's their business.
My business is following my own path to become the most loving, compassionate, nurturing person I can learn how to be.
As for the Devil and Satanic possession, have you personally experienced these?
To take possession as a matter of faith because you have heard stories about possession is no different than accepting the Christian God based on faith without any experience to back it up.
My personal experience of Satan informs me that the Devil is good. Yes, good, not an evil being at all. This is understood by Satanists of the most advanced orders. It is that within ourselves which we believe is evil that causes us to believe that the Devil is evil. But the Devil and Christ are one and the same.
When we are in a state which we perceive as sinful we perceive Christ as being an evil frightening being because we project our own psychological state in our perceptions and Christ perfectly reflects us, so Christ appears to be the Devil. But Christ, as an avatar of God, has only total compassion and love for us and when we feel His acceptance of us we are forgiven of anything within ourselves we might have perceived as sinful and then we see Him as He truly is as the perfect avatar of God. When we embrace Him we merge with Him and we see we were always God and we have always existed in a state of Grace in spite of the illusions that caused us to believe we had been sinful.
Since, in the ultimate state of our identity we are all God/Essa why would it make sense to follow Satanism over any other religion when we are always worship ping ourselves?
