Well....how would they even know about Satan if it weren't for the Bible?

And...the Bible says that Satan and his demons know Jesus exists, and they tremble....

Satanists don't worship Satan, and they're certainly not going against God because they are mad at him.

No Satanistic people do not worship Satan. They do however believe in Evil. They are commonly called dark witches. Whom practice evil arts. However they have no specific Dieter.

I don't think you can believe in Satan without believing in God, since Satan is a creature of God, and God spends all his time fighting with Satan. (Why an all-knowing God would create Satan in the first place, knowing what a pain in the ass he would be, is beyond me.)

Satanists don't actually believe in Satan. They just use his name. No, I'm pretty sure they don't believe in god either. Why not look up Satanism on Wikipedia?

The most common type are the LaVey Satanists. They do not. They use Satan as a symbol, but don't believe he literally exists.

Most of the others are polytheistic. They believe in the Christian God, but believe he lies about his role in the Universe.

There are very few who are just rebellious Christians, but they do exist. I don't even think they have a website.

Satan IS their god !

And they do worship him.

At least they are honest, not like ALL the "other religions" with the exception of God's true Christian religion

Satanism is just another sect of Christianity, in my opinion. Since Satan was created when God cast out a fallen angel, it is still based on Christianity even if Satanists have decided not to follow the Christian God.

The majority of Satanists are actually Atheists. They do not believe or worship any deity at all, so no they aren't "mad" at God, they don't believe that God exists.

There are others that while they either worship or wish to emulate Satan, they don't consider the biblical descriptions so much, but those found in other literature and art. But strictly speaking they don't so much worship their Deity as they wish to use it as an example of how to be and live.

There are some that believe that things are actually the opposite of what the Bible says. That the devil is actually good and God is evil. But, to be honest I have never heard this idea taken seriously until very recently.

And there are those that do have a big problem with Christianity in general in that they feel that its spread is responsible for the loss of their indigenous faith. They are referred to as either Satanists or as devil worshipers, although most Satanists don't recognize them as such.

And finally there are the ones most people are familiar with. The teenagers that are really pi**ed off at the world and want to scare people with how evil they are, and more often than not have no idea what actual Satanism is. They are usually just referred to outright as devil worshipers.

Satanism: Represented by two separate groups, secular and traditional Satanists. The secularists do not believe in in a literal, personal, spiritual being called Satan, but rather consider Satan to be an archetype or symbol that represents the ideas of Satanic philosophy. Various satanic ideals include self-interest, indulgence, an anti-herd mentality, and an emphasis upon rational self-interest. Examples of modern Satanism include The Church of Satan founded by Anton LaVey and now led by Peter Gilmore as High Priest, Michael Aquino's Temple of Set, and Lord Egan's First Church of Satan. Traditional Satanism, which involves the worship of the Satan of the Bible through a perversion and parody of Roman Catholicism, appeared in the fifteenth century coming out of the Inquisition. Contemporary expressions of traditional Satanism are rare, and popular elements of it, including the testimonies of alleged former Satanists and Satanic Ritual Abuse have been discredited. It stands to reason that a Traditional Satanist would believe in God if they believe and follow the Satan of the Bible

No. Spiritual Satanists know that the christian "god" is false, and that Christianity itself is false. It was created in order to destroy knowledge and truth, and to turn the world against the true Gods. Satan is NOT "the devil". Satan is NOT evil, and nor are Satanists. I am talking about true Satanism, not cult rubbish. Cults are a product of Christianity, and they follow the christian teachings concerning Satan which are all LIES! Therefore, they are really following Christianity, NOT Satanism. It is in fact the christian "god" who is the true evil one. In the bible, he condoned rape, murder, slavery, cannibalism and blood-sacrifice. Not only condoned them, but demanded them. And no one can say this is not true, because its written in the bible. However, there is not one single example of Satan ever doing *anything* cruel or "bad" to anyone.
Satan was a God thousands of years before the invention of Christianity.

Satanists do not worship Satan, they use his icon as a sign of there be lives of everyone being animals and acting like you actual should do in the real world. Not like some dumb ass going around hitting peoples without no reason.. Satanists represent strong individuals. And be live it or not, but satanists see them self's as there own gods, there own universe. Read about it on WNW.churchofsatan.com very much information about satanism there.
