What is the difference between atheistic satanism and theistic satanism?

Just curious,I just recently learned the two of these existed and I'm pretty curious to know what the difference is and a little bit about the two.

Theistic satanists worship Satan as a deity. Atheistic satanists do not believe in Satan as a real creature.

As an atheist I don't believe in supreme beings of any ilk, satanic or otherwise. Therefore there is no such thing as atheist satanism.

Theistic Satanists believe that there is a actual supernatural being that corresponds to "Satan" (or Lucifer, in the case of Luciferians).

Atheistic Satanists believe that "Satan" is a metaphor or archetype, not an actual being.

I think you'll find that the term atheistic satanism is an oxymoron. A true atheist doesn't believe in supernatural beings of any description.

Theistic Satanism recognizes the existence of a being called Satan.

Atheistic Satanism sees the image of Satan as a representation of Mans free will and higher aspirations
