They are generally against anything atheistic so that sums it up.

Devil worship on the other hand, that makes their backsides really sore.

I don't know. But from what I gather, some of the rituals are opposite of Catholic rites- correct? Like the 'black mass,' etc.

The Catholic Church teaches:

Man commits idolatry whenever he honors and reveres a creature in place of God, whether this be gods or demons (for example, satanism), power, pleasure, race, ancestors, the state, money, etc.

For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, paragraph 2113 and surrounding: http://www.nccbuscc.org/catechism/text/pt3sect2chpt1.shtml#2111

With love in Christ.

if your gonna put the word satanism out there of course they r against it, unfortunately without the word they do not "see: what they are being taught and practice :-( most of the teachings of this church are indeed Great contradictions/counterfeits to God's Holy Living Word, Rev. 18:4 Jesus warns to come out of "her", it is that catastrophic that He spoke of this "church" we must pray for it's members/followers of traditions and "man", Satan has done great damage in this religion through it's clergy, it is clear to us "Protestants" (term of endearment?") most likely not for they call us "heretics", is this the ways of a true Christian???:-( I speak the Truth, for I Seek It as He desires, thumbs down me all you desire, the Truth is unpopular...I do NOT say these things to offend or anger but to educate and plead:-) I once was catholic, I understand how ya get in too deep, so deep you cannot recognize all the Lies/deceptions for this church has had centuries to perfect their Blaspheme against Him and so in His name, they then teach you it is Everybody else who is what they are:-( wow.. I care and I do pray for you all...Peace/Love & God Bless

Satanism is an evil that has permanent affects on ones soul. So do sorcery, Reiki, wizardry, witch-craft and the like.
