I'm interested in satanism and I'm wondering if people here could tell me some good books or info about it.
Ive been on theistic satanism.com and it seems pretty good. it said that the satanic bible by Anton lave is good and i read good reviews about it on amazon, but some people said that he admitted to being a cannibal, he beat his wife, a lot of other horrible stuff and he stole other peoples writing and put them in his books. people say they re really good though so maybe ill read them anyway? but id rather read the original writings than read what he stole.
people have said that the people on Johnston.com are a Burch of Noe-nazi nut jobs but they believe Enid is satan and im interested in that. when i first found out satanism wasnt worshipping some horrible being that hates you i found out about people thinking enki=satan, so im really interested in enki and sumerian stories, as well as philosophical things about satanism.

I read the Satanic bible, and I think that people called him cannibals and whatnot to try and discredit him.
I think the book is very good up until page 95, I believe it was, where it gets kinda weird. All about rituals and magic and bullshit like that. But pages 1-94 are about smarter ways to live life that I, in general, agree with.
If you are talking about worship ping Satan in the literal sense, however, then you are crazy.
You can start by reading Psalms, a lot of good stuff by Satan in there. Places you would never think to look lick the 10 sections in the Doctrine and Covenants beginning with the first then 9 elsewhere. But I think the Brest advice I could give you if you are going to read is to search the truth in everything not just one God. From Satan to Jesus in every myth story for one, put names to the Gods besides Satan and Jesus like Lucifer and Satan are not the same being. Read enough religions after the myths and you will come ac cross a place in Zoroasyters words to see Satan is on the left hand of the Devil and Lucifer is on the right. The more you read these things I get to thinking God had to have at least one name besides God that wasn't Christ or Jesus. And god the Father was Adam first and the firstborn of Adam and back when Cain was Able way before the stable, genesis 4 is rather deceitful compared to 3. At least in 3 the first verse tells you the new more subtle snake was made in the image of the Lord Giod that old serpent the Devil. Aka Lucifer.

Due to centuries of misinformation, lies, and the systematic removal of knowledge, few people these days understand or even know what ?Satanism? really is all about.
Christianity has been at liberty to dictate without any opposition, what they CLAIM Satanism to be. In order to accomplish this, the truth had to be destroyed. The Catholic Church (the original Christian Church, from which all Christian sects have evolved), heinously tortured to death and mass-murdered millions of innocent men, women and children in what was known as "The Inquisition." Some children who were burnt to death in what were known as "witch houses" were as young as two years of age.?
Christians forever rant and rave concerning the "one world order" where all identities, cultures, personal privacy's, and liberties will be lost and humanity, after being systematically bar-coded, will be lumped into a one-world slave state. What they fail to see is how their own so-called "religion" and bible have always been and are the roots of and blueprint for this regime. Everything in the Judeo/Christian Bible has been stolen and corrupted from religions predating Judaism, Christianity, and Islam from hundreds to thousands of years. Through Judaism and its tool of Christianity, all of the original spiritual teachings from around the world, (which are CONCEPTS) have been stolen from, lumped together into the "one," and corrupted into Jewish archetypes and characters and fictitious places. This has given the Jewish people as a whole a false history, political power and "spiritual" authority to which they are not entitled.
The bible is a very powerful subliminal tool to control the masses. One can see this is a man-made work as there are endless contradictions. The bible has been systematically drummed into the minds of the populace from a very early age. A lie must always be enforced as opposed to the truth which can stand on its own. Because spiritual knowledge and occult power have been removed and kept in the hands of a "chosen" few, the unknowing populace has been helpless against it. The agenda here is to create a one-world slave state with the "chosen" few ruling at the top. The perpetrators of course blame Satan to create a necessary distraction, while they use occult power to accomplish their ends. They have a history of stealing from and blaming their enemies for everything they really are and do, while always holding themselves in the highest esteem and innocence.
The original religions now known as "Satanism" (by the way, "Satan" means "enemy" in Hebrew), were all based upon what is known as the "Magnum Opus" or Great Work. The one known as "Satan" is our True Creator God. He was prevented by the other Gods from finishing his work on humanity, that of the godhead. The godhead is physical and spiritual perfection. Now, if you continue to read on, I will prove this.
The serpent is seen everywhere in ancient relics and structures. The serpent was held sacred in all areas of the ancient world. Satan is the God Ea, aka ENKI, one of the first of the Nephilim to arrive on this planet and establish the first civilization. In Sumerian mythology, Enki's symbol was always the serpent.
The serpent represents the DNA, the life force and the kindling and has survived as the emblem of the American Medical Association and Veterinary medicine, where it is symbolic of life and healing. Only with the coming of Judeo/Christianity, has this sacred symbol been desecrated and blasphemed.

I'm glad I'm seeing more people who have an interest in learning about Satanism rather than believing the common misconceptions created by Christianity.
The Satanic Bible really is a good read for anyone interested in learning Satanism. Though they are fancy atheists, the book still has useful information and the general idea that Satanism is more about free will than serving as a slave or burning in a lake of fire. The LaVeyan philosophy itself is nice to follow, regardless of the fact that Anton LaVey might have been a d*ck. If you are more interested in fancy atheism, go to Christan.com.
Joyofsatan.com IS a bunch of Noe-nazi nut jobs. If you were to join them, their top lady would try and drag you into it (I've heard). Regardless, like the Satanic Bible it still has a lot of useful information. I like to go to Johnston when I need some info they may have. Knowledge is power. Go there for information, but DON'T actually join their organization.
There is also this girl VenusSatanas on you tube. She has a wide variety of videos on you tube. I disagree with her on some things she says, but it wouldn't hurt for you to explore it. She also has a website - spiritual satanist.com. So this way you can either watch her videos via youtube, or go on her website. Everything is on the internet nowdays.
Pretty much what you need to keep in mind is that since Satanism is about freedom, there might not be a "one-size fits all" type of Satanism. The best thing you can do is research all kinds of Satanism and take from them everything you believe. Your beliefs probably won't conform exactly to Joyofsatan or exactly to LaVey or anything. It'll most likely be a mix of different Satanic beliefs.
