Why don't pagans have a clue as to the term SATANism?
Which is warmed over Luciferianism, except they had to drop Lucifer because they aren't supposed to "believe" in God or Satan. So how can they believe in Lucifer?
A rose is still a rose no matter what you call it. SATAN! Get a clue!
Have you studied this subject? The majority of Satanists view "Satan" as being a metaphorical representation of human nature. Basically, they don't believe in the deity of Satan, thus they can't possibly worship him.
Also, Lucifer is Latin for "Morning Star" or "Light Bearer", which is directly linked to the planet Venus. To use it in the context of Satan is a mistake.
How about you get a clue and do some REAL research OUTSIDE biased Christian authors.
Lucifer=Latin term meaning "Light Bearer" or "Light Bringer". A term twisted and perverted into an enemy to the Christian God (merely because they only see two polar extremes to life instead of the entire spectrum).
Satanism has NOTHING to do with Paganism (just another clue that you've never done any research outside the bible). Satanism ALSO has nothing to do with Satan himself. Satan is a mere symbol, they DO NOT worship him as any God.
The only ones who acknowledge the existence of Satan is Christians, therefore Satan is a CHRISTIAN deity, NOT a Pagan one. GET A CLUE!!!
Pagans don't believe in Satan. What you are referring to is Levayan Satanism and you know nothing about the foundations of Levayan Satanism. Anton Levay only used that terminology to get attention for his way of life and to gather a following. It was primarily capitalistic. If you had ever read his books you would see that there is no belief in any type of god or devil. The only thing that is revered is the self. One of the main tenants of his philosophy is practiced by theists everyday, especially in America.
Do as you like but do no harm to others. So many theists think that this will get them into heaven because they aren't hurting anyone. But doing as you like often flies in the face of religious tenants.
Since you clueless idiot Christians are so uneducated in world religion, you only see the world in terms of black and white.
It is you who needs to get a clue.
Satan is a Christian affectation created during the early Middle Ages, used by the Catholic church to frighten the uneducated populace into following their belief system and to scare them away from their long history of following their regional Pagan beliefs.
Because Satan is a Christian affectation, then, logically, one MUST FIRST BE CHRISTIAN in order to believe or follow your Satan.
Pagan beliefs have been around since before the writing of the fist biblical texts. Your devil does not, nor has ever had anything to to with ANY Pagan belief system.
Our gods love us and respect us as we love and respect them.
Your God is a jealous and controlling entity.
Which one sounds better to you; a tyrant or loving parents?
Satanism is Christianities fault (it is Christianity that created Satan) and Christians keep perpetuating the lie.
How do you prove that our "horned god" is your devil? Because some Christian artist used that image as his basis for a painting? That is just a horribly stupid argument.
Your own Bible even contradicts that description. In the old testament, is Lucifer not described as "the most beautiful of God's angels"? And the description has repeatedly changed based on what the Church wanted to effect.
original: Most beautiful of the angels.
next gen: copy of our horned god.
3rd gen: added goat face to horned god.
current gen; red skin with addition of bat wings long, arrowhead-tipped tail.
So which one is the real image? You don't know, do you?
Remember that it is in your own bible. Genesis: Chapter 1. God was part of the Elohim (pantheon of gods), made Eden, Adam and Eve after the rest of the Earth was made; lied to Adam and Eve about the tree of knowledge, but Lucifer told them the truth about it.
So who is really the devil-worshipers, here; The ones who believe in a liar, or the pagans that follow the old gods that love and respect us?
If you are going to claim something, then at least have the research to back it up.
