Why cant christians realize satan is not a being, satan means the adversary in the OT
satanism cause it is against belief in all gods and religions. So its not the worship of Satan. Its the worship of self, individuality, and freedom. Sound so evil now?
research LaVeyan Satanism and kippedDOTurchofsatan.com (click theory and practice) for more TRUE info
Because Christians follow the Bible which clearly describes Satan as a being. We would know nothing about Satan except for the Bible. Satanists just love to cherry pick the Bible much like their namesake. Worship of self is effectively worship of Satan. That which opposes God opposes good. Therefore that which opposes God is by definition evil. It is basic to reality. Join us in reality sometime.
Why can't you realize that Satan is indeed an entity according to Christian theology? You may disagree with that, it is your prerogative, but that is what Christians believe.
If you don't like our position, tough. We are not going to change it to please you.
of course he is the adversary of anything that is good. as he is evil. Satan can also transform himself into an angel of light. How many men have been tempted when they see a beautiful woman?
"The Thief (Satan ) came to kill, to steal, and to destroy; I am come that they might have life...." - Jesus
"You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do..... when he speaks a lie he speaks it of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it." - Jesus (Jn. 8:44)
I never really thought about satanism as anything much, but thanks for the info. I'll go and have a look on it later. Thanks for the links........ but are so sure creditworthyREthe?
Why on the Christan.com does it have images of the idealized devil then of it's not about the actual Satan as described in christian society? It just seems different to me. So no one whatsoever is allowed in the rituals unless they are members? So if an individual wanted to create their own group that was a little more free range with their members.... it wouldn't be "orthodox ed" in a sense?
Usage: noun

1: innate wickedness
2: obsession with or affinity for evil ; specifically : worship of Satan marked by the travesty of Christian rites
yes it still sounds evil for some reason which i cannot explain. however thank you for making that clarification, i no longer believer that you worship Satan but i still think he is a being
Yes it does sound evil. You said it yourself that it is the worship of self. And to be an adversary against everything that comes against self, individuality and freedom right? That would mean you can't be in any relationship where you care for another person because that would be denying ones self for another, denying your individuality to a degree to please the other, and denying some freedom to be with the other person. Unless your a hypocrite.
Christianity, like many religions, is based on faith, which is, by definition, acceptance without demonstration. The believe in Satan as the embodiment of evil because that is what they were raised to believe and in most cases people will cling to the beliefs of childhood in the face of any evidence or argument to the contrary no matter how compelling.
That being the case the decision to call your faith "Satanism" is inevitably going to cause negative reactions, you should either learn to accept that or pick a different name. Don't forget that when Gerald Gardner founded the Neo-Pagan religion now known as Wicca he called it Modern Witchcraft. Practitioner called themselves witches, many of the older or more traditional ones still do, and their faith met with much the same kind of negative response as does Satanism now. It was because of this that the terms Wicca and Wiccan were adopted and are now widely used. Maybe you should try calling yourselves LaVeyans instead of Satanists, your beliefs would still be the same and you wouldn't be fighting centuries of cultural and social conditioning.
The creator of humanity EA is the God they call Satan. Real Satanism is about finishing the great work on oneself and obtainment of the Godhead of spiritual and physical perfection and immortality.
