I'm very confused. Religions like pantheism and satanism..?
I am a pantheist and have always love reading about satanism. I noticed something today..
When Richard Dawkins said pantheism was just sexed up atheism (that in which I agree fully with) what about things like Satanism that have no god but a set of beliefs. Yeah I realize many people in pantheism and satanism consider themselves their own god but it's not the same "God" if you look deeper into it. It's not the same idea of God at least.
I'm starting to think most Pantheists (not the Tyne Kittie) and other religious folks in different religions who are similar are Atheists with a little philosophy on things here and there that are somewhat spiritual.
I'm just confused.

Satanism is two parts Ayn Rand libertarianism and one part cloak and dagger to add a mystical and rebellious flair to what is otherwise a fairly common political philosophy.
If a pantheist is just an atheist who wants to be more mystical and unique, then a Satanist is just a Noe-con who wants the same thing.
Ultimately, I'm not a big fan of unnecessarily creating mystic isms and spiritual isms from ideologies that have no need of them - doing so gives too much credit to mysticism and spiritualism.
Is this what all the unemployed are doing with their time wondering whether one myth is more valid than another? Really? Go to the beach, let the sand and surf wash over your toes, recognize the world for what it is. Dump all that religious crap your parent laid on you and think for yourself. Spend a day or two coming up with your own theory of how the universe exists, unfiltered by the brainwashing you grew up with. Any modern human who spend just a little time thinking on their own would realize how absurd these religious teachings are. Snap back to reality, will you?
Well, I think satanism started out as a parody. They use Satan just as a symbol of their natural desires, but personally I don't really like christian mythology, so I would probably rather go for the Sethian path(if I wanted to go for the left hand path). Set is pretty cool.
i profess no religion I'm a-theist only in in the fact i like to be negative towards religion where it warrants grief.
i claim to be a spiritual atheist because i reckon there is a reason for all life to improve as progressively as it does and as intricately as it does under evolution. I believe life is more complex and diverse than it needs be to merely continue so I intuit there is a tautological essence to reality . i don't claim to know what IS happening - but i can, at least, see clearly enough to reject any basis in truth of the socially beneficial constructions known as religions and can even guide people away form the disenfranchisement's they suffer at the hands of holding these outdated belief sets.
Despite many years thinking on this and even having picked up along the way an associated Absolute and a stratified orthopedics to deal with the reality of what i do see - i still can't guess WHY everything gets better or what diverse purpose is being served by the heightening quality.
I think we are all born with the knowledge that there is a Creator.
Life, by way of other people, tries to steal that knowledge from us, or at the very least, to warp it.
That comes in the form of beliefs, religions and various other dogma. All designed by men to control other men.
Those things lead to pain and confusion as they always lead to another person, NOT to The Creator, or God.
That pain and confusion causes people to struggle against what they know in some part of their being, which is, that there is a Creator. Like a drowning person struggles against the person trying to save them.
Some people stop struggling and find peace. Others never do.
I personally cannot look at the night sky without realizing that a Creator, God, brought it into being. No matter how much human beings learn about the universe, the cosmos, they cannot, nor will they ever, be able to prove how it all started. It's impossible without believing in a Creator.

Due to centuries of misinformation, lies, and the systematic removal of knowledge, few people these days understand or even know what ?Satanism? really is all about.
Christianity has been at liberty to dictate without any opposition, what they CLAIM Satanism to be. In order to accomplish this, the truth had to be destroyed. The Catholic Church (the original Christian Church, from which all Christian sects have evolved), heinously tortured to death and mass-murdered millions of innocent men, women and children in what was known as "The Inquisition." Some children who were burnt to death in what were known as "witch houses" were as young as two years of age.?
Christians forever rant and rave concerning the "one world order" where all identities, cultures, personal privacy's, and liberties will be lost and humanity, after being systematically bar-coded, will be lumped into a one-world slave state. What they fail to see is how their own so-called "religion" and bible have always been and are the roots of and blueprint for this regime. Everything in the Judeo/Christian Bible has been stolen and corrupted from religions predating Judaism, Christianity, and Islam from hundreds to thousands of years. Through Judaism and its tool of Christianity, all of the original spiritual teachings from around the world, (which are CONCEPTS) have been stolen from, lumped together into the "one," and corrupted into Jewish archetypes and characters and fictitious places. This has given the Jewish people as a whole a false history, political power and "spiritual" authority to which they are not entitled.
The bible is a very powerful subliminal tool to control the masses. One can see this is a man-made work as there are endless contradictions. The bible has been systematically drummed into the minds of the populace from a very early age. A lie must always be enforced as opposed to the truth which can stand on its own. Because spiritual knowledge and occult power have been removed and kept in the hands of a "chosen" few, the unknowing populace has been helpless against it. The agenda here is to create a one-world slave state with the "chosen" few ruling at the top. The perpetrators of course blame Satan to create a necessary distraction, while they use occult power to accomplish their ends. They have a history of stealing from and blaming their enemies for everything they really are and do, while always holding themselves in the highest esteem and innocence.
The original religions now known as "Satanism" (by the way, "Satan" means "enemy" in Hebrew), were all based upon what is known as the "Magnum Opus" or Great Work. The one known as "Satan" is our True Creator God. He was prevented by the other Gods from finishing his work on humanity, that of the godhead. The godhead is physical and spiritual perfection. The serpent is seen everywhere in ancient relics and structures. The serpent was held sacred in all areas of the ancient world. Satan is the God Ea, aka ENKI, one of the first of the Nephilim to arrive on this planet and establish the first civilization. In Sumerian mythology, Enki's symbol was always the serpent.
The serpent represents the DNA, the life force and the kindling and has survived as the emblem of the American Medical Association and Veterinary medicine, where it is symbolic of life and healing. Only with the coming of Judeo/Christianity, has this sacred symbol been desecrated and blasphemed.
Beliefs that are still not knowledge after one life time should be dismissed with out prejudice and should definitely be reassessed or start all over with something believable ( provable ) . If you aren't sure after one life time that a god or a devil exists what makes you think you will ever gain any more knowledge after thousands of years ? So it is called a belief system because you do not know for sure and you have billions of people hoping it is true . Delusions and deception are the two best tools used for gaining converts to what ever you are pushing , and they are the worst things for a safe sane society.
