Satanists: Can one accept Anton LaVey's reason and Satanism but not practice magic?

Is it even an option or would such behavior not be considered true Satanism?

Satan will seem good right now because you get to sleep around, but he is just tricking you so that after death he may torture you and abuse you. he does not care about you like god does.

Satanism is a philosophy, not a religion. The entire POINT of Satanism is NOT TO CONFORM. Therefore if you don't want to practice magic, then don't. Otherwise, you'd just be doing it to 'fit in', which is conformity.

The whole point of LaVeyan Satanism is that you celebrate your individuality, so I doubt it would matter if you didn't want to practice magic. From what I've read, that sort of thing is only in the religion at all because Anton LaVey recognized that humans need ritual in their lives.

Anyway, you can agree with some of the principles of a religion without having to be a part of it. I agree with some of the teachings attributed to Jesus but I'm not Christian.

According to LaVey's own writings, yes. There are members of the Church of Satan who do not practice magic.
