What do you mean by satanism or demonic are they similar to an atheist? if they are both "lack of moral foundation or lack of morality then think it over.
If you have a moral principles in your life, don't be bothered about it, its useless and a waste of time.
Satan, before he was sent out of heaven was the most beautiful and intelligent angel in the world.
He disagreed with god having all those massacres and killing babies and objected.
So god banned him from heaven and sent him to hell, taking the blame for all misery god causes.
The left hand path have nothing to actually do with 'Satan and demons', it is not the opposite of Christianity. I believe you are/were a curious dabbler of the occult, maybe you should try something else instead of rebelling and trying to be cool.

You're probably looking at the wrong branch of Satanism. There are a lot of different types out there, some less desirable than others.

Personally I find LaVeyan Satanism interesting because of this (it's atheistic. I'm in love). You don't need to worship any god or demon or devil.
Like I said, you must be in the wrong sort of Satanism -- Theistic Satanism. That's the kind that worships Satan and practices rituals. Just convert if you don't like it, it's really the best thing to do. Never stick around with a religion that does nothing for you, that you don't believe in.
Research other religions. If none does it for you, become an atheist and you'll be very happy (of course you can be an atheistic Satanist, but some forms of Satanism require you to worship the Devil as a God).
