My opinion is that he was a fraud. Howard Levy was in it for the money, and saw a niche, and exploited it. He was a showman, not a philosopher. He didn't even actually believe in his own "religion".

BQ2: I do not have a "Religion", as I do not believe in any supernatural existence. I believe in the philosophy of Ayn Rand style Objectivism.
That's sort of the notion of total free will independent of any constraining morality right? I never got into any of that. It eventually leads to an overemphasis on the individual to the detriment of everyone and everything else. Like, "well if it's good for me then it's good." But what if what's good for you screws hundreds of others? Or I could be wrong about what LaVey was all about, like I said I never got into any of it.
I don't like the idea at all, and I agree it's just a fraud. He supposedly supported free will, but all he did was to "succumb" into the will of Satan and a black force and stuff. I don't think it makes sense at all. If we are unfriendly towards the others, if all we do, is revenge when someone is not good at us, then where's the point?
In my opinion, all the things LaVey did was to gain popularity and nothing more.
I've read somewhere that concerning the satanic bible written by LaVey, we don't have the right to express ourselves unless someone tells us to. That's just silly and dumb.
BQ: Classic rock (mostly hard rock and psychedelic rock)
mm..i don't really think anything and don't knew much
of it other than the fact that it encourages individualism,
personal initiative and stuff like that....right?
IT attempts to encourage individualism but in a poor manner because you still "must believe" in the religion. I think its just a bunch of goons that get together to do certain weird rituals & stuff. I always say religion, no matter which one is for the weak because people that believe in religion think that "help" or "hope" cannot be found here on Earth so they look to a "higher source, or power" for help. Everything one needs is here you just have to seek it out.
