Many people here have called the Catholic Church satanic, I would like to know how we are satanic when we worship God and not Satan
Please explain why we are called satanic and what makes you think we are?

Most Fundamentalists call you Satanic because you don't follow the Bible for crap. And, according to the Christian Bible, if you don't follow it, you're Satanic.

satanism, as per the church of Satan, is really a dark, nutty-gritty version of humanism. aside from that, people tend to call catholics satanic on the basis of prophecies in the book of revelation, equating "the whore of Babylon" with the catholic church. also, they point out that the phrase on the pontiff's hat equals 666 when you add up the roman alphabet/numerals on it.
what i find curious is they never correlate themselves with the "daughters of the whore of Babylon". but that would be too honest or too knowing.
Satan is the father of lies. mass, Eucharist, confessional, priesthood, papacy, Mary worship, the rosary, and purgatory. all lies. not scriptural. man made traditions leading people away from Christ and straight to hell.
There is Spiritual Satanism and there is Philosophical Satanism.
Spiritual Satanism is either the worship ping of the Satan from the Bible (This isn't so popular. It's most likely adopted by rebellious fucks in Christian families.), or the worship ping of the god "Enki" from Sumerian mythology.
Philosophical Satanism is an atheistic worldview. It is basically a pursuit of pleasure and makes use of the "an eye for an eye" philosophy.
You're not the only game in town. I respect your religion, have many friends of your religion. When people mature and finally learn the lessons of life that bring you revelations of unconditional love and to respect others beliefs and what they chose in life, then comes peace and serenity. If you think for one minute that your religion is the only one that gets labeled, criticized, lied about, called names, had your churches and homes burned down, members killed point blank range, struggled to find a place for freedom to worship as you want and fight the elements and lose family in death to reach that destination, you're so wrong!
And still today we continue to endure it all including the sickening crap that's put on this website about my religion, we still forgive just like Jesus taught us and show unconditional love to all.

Consider it a honor if they want to call our Church a Satanic Church as Jesus was accused of the same Charges and were his body. Like the late great Bishop Sheen once said I'd rather belong to the one church hated by all the world than to be a part of the worlds ways or words to that effect.

Due to centuries of misinformation, lies, and the systematic removal of knowledge, few people these days understand or even know what ?Satanism? really is all about.
Christianity has been at liberty to dictate without any opposition, what they CLAIM Satanism to be. In order to accomplish this, the truth had to be destroyed. The Catholic Church (the original Christian Church, from which all Christian sects have evolved), heinously tortured to death and mass-murdered millions of innocent men, women and children in what was known as "The Inquisition." Some children who were burnt to death in what were known as "witch houses" were as young as two years of age.?
Christians forever rant and rave concerning the "one world order" where all identities, cultures, personal privacy's, and liberties will be lost and humanity, after being systematically bar-coded, will be lumped into a one-world slave state. What they fail to see is how their own so-called "religion" and bible have always been and are the roots of and blueprint for this regime. Everything in the Judeo/Christian Bible has been stolen and corrupted from religions predating Judaism, Christianity, and Islam from hundreds to thousands of years. Through Judaism and its tool of Christianity, all of the original spiritual teachings from around the world, (which are CONCEPTS) have been stolen from, lumped together into the "one," and corrupted into Jewish archetypes and characters and fictitious places. This has given the Jewish people as a whole a false history, political power and "spiritual" authority to which they are not entitled.
The bible is a very powerful subliminal tool to control the masses. One can see this is a man-made work as there are endless contradictions. The bible has been systematically drummed into the minds of the populace from a very early age. A lie must always be enforced as opposed to the truth which can stand on its own. Because spiritual knowledge and occult power have been removed and kept in the hands of a "chosen" few, the unknowing populace has been helpless against it. The agenda here is to create a one-world slave state with the "chosen" few ruling at the top. The perpetrators of course blame Satan to create a necessary distraction, while they use occult power to accomplish their ends. They have a history of stealing from and blaming their enemies for everything they really are and do, while always holding themselves in the highest esteem and innocence.
The original religions now known as "Satanism" (by the way, "Satan" means "enemy" in Hebrew), were all based upon what is known as the "Magnum Opus" or Great Work. The one known as "Satan" is our True Creator God. He was prevented by the other Gods from finishing his work on humanity, that of the godhead. The godhead is physical and spiritual perfection. What is Satanism? Satanism is a religion centered around being human. Satanism advocates respect for ones emotions and ones self. Instead of loving our enemies we hate them with a passion. "Satan" in Hebrew means "adversary," but Hebrew derives its self from even older languages; such as Sanskrit. "Satan" is originally derived from a Sanskrit chant known as "Sa Ta Na Ma." "Sa Ta Na Ma" broken up, means: infinite, life, death and rebirth. Satan was cut off at death to BLASPHEME. Satan to the Sumerians was known as Enki; Enki being the ruler of the Earth. Satan and the other demons depicted in the Bible are actually Gods from ancient Pagan religions. They were written in as bad guys to blaspheme. Antone LaVey, the author of the Satanic Bible was atheist. He didn't actually believe in Satan, he just used him as a figurehead. The Satanic Bible is made up philosophies that adhere to being HUMAN. True Satanism is actually Spiritual Satanism. As a Spiritual Satanist I meditate daily to empower my soul so that I may achieve godhead. The foundation of Satanic philosophies is potential and personal empowerment; as I Satanist I work daily to improve my life, empower my soul and empower myself. Satanism is NOT about child/animal sacrifice, it is NOT about being evil, it has NOTHING to do with the Bible.
To answer your question further, I have never heard of such a thing. I'd never call any Christian of any kind a Satanist; I don't like to insult myself or my brothers and sisters. It takes allot of strength and pride to be a Satanist. We advocate the responsibility to the responsible, we don't pray to an invisible sky daddy to solve our problems; we solve OUR own problems. We don't credit unseen forces for the good things in our lives, we don't blame unseen forces for the bad things in our lives. Only those who are strong of mind and spirit can be Satanists. All Christians are the same, you think any of you guys look different from each other to the rest of the world?

well as far as I'm concerned there are 3 things one could be referring to when using the term satanic/satanism
1)Satanist from an uneducated standpoint: this is the satanism Christians and the like often refer to, they often insist that it is a cult which engages in animal sacrifices and baby slaughter. it is largely used as a scapegoat for anything which they consider evil for example they have blamed the recent abductions of children in Haiti on satanists, these cults do no exist, they are fictional and are merely christian scare tactics
2) theistic satanism: the belief the god and Satan are backwards, the reason they believe this is because the story goes the Satan(refered to a Lucifer) was an angel in heaven who defied go and was cast out of heaven, they believe that he defied god because he disagreed with his methods such as flooding the entire earth and killing everyone, and god does seem like a bit of a tyrant when you take into account that he is going to damn people to hell simply for not believing in him
3)LaVeyan satanism: atheism accompanied with a philosophy, founded by Anton LaVey, satan is symbolic of mans carnal nature, no beleif in a high power or devil what so ever.
now onto why some people will call the catholic church satanic.
the term satanic people are using in reguards to the catholic church is the 1st term I gave, the people who are refering to you as satanic are looking for a scapegoat, probably because alot of catholics are pretty fundamental when it comes to their religion and the bible has some pretty horid things in it. the catholic church insists that gay's are immoral and stuff like that, modern day society is more accepting and doesn't take kindly on discimination, this is seen as evil, lastly I forget which church it is but one features an inverted cross, many associate this with satanism, in reality it is in refrence to peter (I think) who insisted on being crusified upside down because he did not think himself worthy to die in the same way as jesus.
