A lot of people freak out over the big "S" word even if they're non-religious. From what I understand, LaVey Satanism has nothing to do with harming people, animals or... anything bad really. Why is it such a taboo thing, and always associated with terrible things?
Cher: Exactly. I'm very familiar with that and it makes complete sense to me. That's how I live, and if I'm not mistaken EVERYBODY on this earth really follows that. It's called be decent to people and knock them out if they're being absolutely rude to you for no reason. A lot of Christians I know follow that same rule... So no.
Because its just another CIA funded program that wastes the tax payer's money. That is if you're talking about LaVey Satanism. There are thousands of other Satanic sects that aren't official and do not necessarily have a name, they come in many different forms, new age, theosophy, dark magic, astrology, Freemasonry, and they are about worship ping Satan, and from what I can remember, the people in power used to actually worship God instead of Lucifer, which is who these internationalist agents are worship ping.
You are clearly not familiar with some of the tenets of LaVeyan Satanism [written by Anton Szandor LaVey in 1967]:
If a guest in your lair annoys you, treat him cruelly and without mercy.
Acknowledge the power of magic if you have employed it successfully to obtain your desires. If you deny the power of magic after having called upon it with success, you will lose all you have obtained.
When walking in open territory, bother no one. If someone bothers you, ask him to stop. If he does not stop, destroy him.
Because when a word has "Satan" in it, it reminds most people (esp in a Christian based nation like the USA) of the fallen angel, the devil, Lucifer, etc etc. And all those things are usually related with evilness. Plus most people have no idea what LaVey Satanism is.
Because atheists think they're dumb for worshiping a super natural creature and religious people think they're evil for worshiping gods' nemesis, the devil.
Many people think Satanists worship the devil. However, LaVeyan Satanists are atheists, and do need our prayers. One can help them by praying the rosary for them daily. The rosary is God's preferred means for obtaining conversions. See the following promises.
