anyone here a satanist? i guess most people are a christian or catholic (or even atheists are more common...). huh....thinking of becoming satanist. not entirely sure though.
There are several regulars that are LeVey Satanists. I've even seen a handful of theistic ones, although the only real regular had a baby and she doesn't come around much now.
all religion is a crock...weather you believe in god or Satan...it's all a load of crap....there is no god...therefore there is no Satan...since they are both linked together in this buy-bull book if you don't believe one then it automatically deletes the other....
before anyone says anything, Satanism isn't Devil worship... it's more like pagan than anything else, it basically tells it's followers to embrace life and stay away from the things that are widely considered as immoral.
Does $Scientology count? If not, aren't all Christians technically Satanist? Satan's one of the gods in the Christian pantheon. Him, Yahweh, Jesus, and Rush Limbaugh.
Evry religion is basically b/s, believe the pr oven facts, believe in science to tell us how we started and what we have evolved into,
no 1 man and 1 women could start the worlds pop, and they had 3 boy kids, bull, that would create a bunch of inbreed people,
and Satan is a bunch of shit also, you know where you go when you die? NOWHERE! its like you fall asleep and dint wake up or have dreams, and you sit 6 feet under for the rest of the worlds life, that about it,,
What's the difference between a christian and a catholic again? You mean protestant? You realize that the Catholic church was believing in Jesus for at least a thousand years before protestants showed up?
I am, and I'm proud to say it and theirs a lot more people than me, now I not going to push you on why you should be a satanist that's your choice but if you want more info go to "Joy of Satan.org" for all your questions and don't let others hold you back you have a right to have your religion as anybody else.
I am not a Satanist, but I have known people who were. And I know it is not at all like they are stereotypically portrayed. They are not horrible evil people.
This is of course if you are talking about true Satanism, and NOT a group of goth teens pretending to be Satanists. You should do your own research and talk to some people before making your decision.

Some one earlier said that Satanism is embarrassing things that are usually considered immoral. Basically, loving the things of this world. The bible clearly states that being worldly is following Satan. Satan wants us to forget everything that is Godly by trying to make ourselves feel "good." Like sex or drugs they feel good for a short period but soon reality hits again and we look for our next fix.

Everyone has to choose their own path . . . just try to be well informed. This is your soul you are playing with.
If you are thinking about becoming a Satanist you have a lot of studying to do, and a lot of questions to ask yourself instead of others. Read the SB by Anton LaVey. There is other material, and other doctrines that are labeled Satanic, but that is the place to start. Consider it your primer.
