I want to learn more about Satanism and I want to know the two different kinds of Satanism. Also if anyone has any good sites with more information about Satanism, I'd like to hear about em'.
Both kinds of Satanism end with the same result. Make no mistake; you most definitely have a loathing spiritual enemy, Satan. His hatred for you knows no bounds. It is disguised in a multitude of distracting, appealing deceptions. Backslidden, or in reality, unregenerate, you are only a victim of Satan?s experience gained over thousands of years. You will share his final fate, the Lake of Fire, eternally. Jesus? words, His resurrection and His Spirit abiding within provide your only possible hope against this overwhelming enemy. Satan?s influence and power over a person's life is only restrained by the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in your repentant, Savior-trusting life. Confess your sins to Him and turn from them. Ask His forgiveness, and ask as often as needed. Trust Jesus took the punishment your sins deserve on His cross. Your Father in Heaven only looks upon Jesus? sacrifice on the cross as big enough to pay your debt of sin, assure you of eternal life and empower you by the Holy Spirit to stand victorious against the enemy of your soul. Read Romans 8:1-15 about a repentant heart?s complete authority over Satan - a defeated enemy.
Read how the Bible says to be right with God, Matthew 4:17; Acts 2:38; Acts 3:19; Romans 2:4-5; Romans 3:23-24; James 2:10; Hebrews 9:27; 1 John 1:8-9; Romans 5:8; Romans 10:9-10; Romans 10:13; Ephesians 2:8-9; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 Peter 3:18; John 3:36; 1 John 5:11-13
Satanism is not a Christian invention
Satanism predates Christianity and all other religions
Satanism is not about spooks, goblins, vampires, Halloween monsters or other related entities
Satanism is not about "evil"
Satanism is not an invention of, or a "reaction" to Christianity
Satanism is not a creation of Anton LaVey
Satanism is not about death
True Satanism is about elevating and empowering humanity to reach equality with the Gods, which was our True Creator (Satan's) intention
"IN THE SECRET OF MY KNOWLEDGE THERE IS NO GOD BUT ME"
-SATAN
From "Peace Be Unto Him"
The original religions now known as "Satanism" (by the way, "Satan" means "enemy" in Hebrew), were all based upon what is known as the "Magnum Opus" or Great Work. The one known as "Satan" is our True Creator God. He was prevented by the other Gods from finishing his work on humanity, that of the godhead. The godhead is physical and spiritual perfection. Now, if you continue to read on, I will prove this.
The serpent is seen everywhere in ancient relics and structures. The serpent was held sacred in all areas of the ancient world. Satan is the God Ea, aka ENKI, one of the first of the Nephilim to arrive on this planet and establish the first civilization. In Sumerian mythology, Enki's symbol was always the serpent.
The serpent represents the DNA, the life force and the kindling and has survived as the emblem of the American Medical Association and Veterinary medicine, where it is symbolic of life and healing. Only with the coming of Judeo/Christianity, has this sacred symbol been desecrated and blasphemed.
Nearly all of us are familiar with the term "fallen." This word has been used copiously by Christian clergy to refer to Satan and his Demons. In truth, "fallen" pertains to the kindling serpent (which has always been associated with our Creator God Satan), which has fallen in humanity as a whole and now lies dormant at the base of the spine. Because of this, humanity as a whole is on a very low level of spiritual understanding. Thoughtless abuses of children and animals, senseless wars, brutality and endless corruption are the results of the fallen serpent. The "Tree of Life" which was stolen from the ancient Pagan religions and found its way into the biblical book of Genesis, was seen in many parts of the ancient world.
Two kinds? Hahaha. There are many kinds of Satanism. The ones I?vie studied are LaVeyan, Theistic/Spiritual, Devil worshipers, Luciferianism, and pseudo Satanism.
LaVeyan Satanism
This is atheistic. They see Satan as a symbol. In the Torah, "Satan" means the adversary. LaVeyan Satanism challenges the status quot. They do not believe Satan is an actual being. He is a symbol to them that represents different things.
1. Satan represents indulgence instead of abstinence!
2. Satan represents vital existence instead of spiritual pipe dreams!
3. Satan represents undefiled wisdom instead of hypocritical self-deceit!
4. Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it instead of love wasted on ingrates!
5. Satan represents vengeance instead of turning the other cheek!
6. Satan represents responsibility to the responsible instead of concern for psychic vampires!
7. Satan represents man as just another animal, sometimes better, more often worse than those that walk on all-fours, who, because of his ?divine spiritual and intellectual development,? has become the most vicious animal of all!
8. Satan represents all of the so-called sins, as they all lead to physical, mental, or emotional gratification!
9. Satan has been the best friend the Church has ever had, as He has kept it in business all these years!
The basic philosophies LaVey came up with is very good. But he was a power hungry, sell out fraud. Most of his 'history' about Satan is fake. Baphomet was NOT worshiped as Satan, the Yezidis do NOT worship Satan, and the Al-Jiwah is NOT the black book of Satan. Decent philosophy, scam religion.
The religion has a lot of hate in it. In The Satanic Bible, the first chapter (the book of Satan), it says ?I gaze into the glassy eye of your fearsome Jehovah, and pluck him by the beard. I uplift a broad axe and split open his worm eaten skull.? Now this is symbolic, like the whole religion, but still very violent.
There are Satanists like me who do not consider themselves LaVeyan but see Satan simply as a symbol of opposition to what this world has become. Personally I believe in gods but it has nothing to do with my Satanism. I am a Satanist because I am opposed to this world. The anorexic beauty, the capitalism, the lack of freedom, the corrupt governments, the wars, the hate, etc. I use Satan as a symbol because Satan challenges the status quo. In the bible, god killed millions and denied us knowledge and freedom. Satan only killed a handful of people WITH GOD?S PERMISSION and grants knowledge, freedom, and individuality.
Theistic/Spiritual Satanism is what Joy of Satan is but they are a bad example. They encourage Nazism and a self mutilation ritual to give your soul to Satan. Once again, most of their 'history' is false to make you believe more.
In Theistic/Spiritual Satanism, the deity/deities being worshiped is not the Christian Satan. They believe the god is the true creator god. In a lot of cases, the belief is that Satan is some kind of extraterrestrial being. Most Theistic/Spiritual Satanists are polytheistic. It is usually rare that they believe in the Christian god at all. When they do, They believe that the Christian god stole Satan?s credit for creating the world. They use god?s horrible deeds in the bible to prove he is not all loving like religions claim. Other Theistic/Spiritual Satanist have their own unique beliefs. Most belief, whatever god they think the creator god is was perverted into Satan to hide the god?s identity. They call him Satan because people are not worthy to know his identity. In this case, many people could be considered Theistic/Spiritual Satanists.
Devil Worshipers are extremely rare. They worship the Christian Satan. They believe god is ALL forgiving and Satan is ruler of this world. So, they feel they have to please Satan. This can be done through self mutilation, vandalism, and in extreme rare cases even animal sacrifice. Nothing like Satanic Ritual Abuse though. It is not like they are holding kidnapped women hostage to have babies to sacrifice. The Satanic Ritual Abuse was proven false. If they do not please Satan they fear they will go to hell.
Luciferianism is the Satanism I know least about. They believe Lucifer is the bearer of light and can bring them infinite knowledge. They believe in the positive aspects of Satan. There are several groups of Luciferians (I think that is what you would call them.)
Last, Pseudo Satanists are just posers. They have really no religious connection to any kind of Satanism. They just get off on trying to scare people with carving pentagrams into churches and stuff.
Last I would like to state that, as far as I know, there has never been a confirmed case of a human Satanic ritual murder in the United States.
Devil worshiping is a religion (actually a part of Christianity), based on the worship of the evil force of Christianity; Satan. In doing this, a devil worshiper worships evil. And, to be a devil worshiper, you have to believe in Christianity, or at least part of the Christian teaching. But you have to be religious and believe in the supernatural in order to worship the devil (it makes no seance to first claim that you are an atheist, and then claim that you worship Satan!). You have to have faith, in short.
Satanism has nothing to do with this. The philosophy of Satanism started as a movement against the tyranny of the Christian church. The Satanists turned crosses up side down, read psalms backwards, etc, in order to show the world their dissociate with Christianity. Later on, it has developed into a form of philosophy, using Satan as a symbol of anti-Christianity. This philosophy is more positive to the individual, and the life right here and now. It also has a different view on moral, and focus more on the individual instead of being a servant of a god. Hence, a Satanist can be a atheist (and I think that Satanism works best combined with atheism), but in order to be a devil worshiper, you have to have faith and believe in the supernatural.
A modern form of Satanism believes in the supernatural, magic and "unearthly" creatures. For example, in the Satanic Bible (written by LaVey, and a common book among modern Satanists), magic and rituals are described. This book is actually... quite silly, since it first seems to be agnostic, and then in the end tells you how to use magic! But this modern version is not the original version of Satanism.
Devil worshiping worships an evil force and violence. But a Satanist does not have to be evil. The sheer belief of a Satanist does not make him evil. Unless your definition of evil means that you do not believe in the Christianity. But the time when Christianity had monopoly on moral is long gone!
