Look at all religions and you could say the same. Where is the common sense?

People need something to believe in. No one wants to know that this is it. This is all there is.

Cult's can be very insidious and the people they prey on are people they know are vulnerable and have money. It's not totally their fault that they're being taken advantage of.

It's goofy, but it's no goofier than the millions of bible jockeys that line up every week to drop their hard earned cash in a plate at the local collection center, er, church.

Scientologists: Aliens made me with technology!
Christians: An old man in the sky made me out of dirt!

Yeah, those wacky Scientologists... They must be insane...

Gullible people can be found anywhere. Even under a rock with 'Scientology' written on it.

I think Scientology, based on the limited info I have, is a bunch of whacked out Crayola. It is hard to believe that it has followers. Tom Cruise becomes stranger each time I see him, which is not often.

Yep!..... there are currently over 8 million Scientologists in more that 150 countries world wide. However we are a new religion, only 55 years old so you will have to give us a bit more time as we just got started.
The true story of Scientology as a religion goes like this:
1. A philosopher develop es a philosophy about life and death.
2. People find it interesting.
3. People find it works.
4. People pass it along to others.
5. It grows.

What's your problem?
