Big enough to wonder how that many people can get involved in a bunch of rubbish.

There's a sucker born every day. Yeah, it's big.

As big as the money can buy. They go after the celebrities because they can get bigger money from them. I know someone who went into that cult or whatever you call it, and they really drained him of the money... Just listening to all the rules that Tom Cruise put on his family, I know that I would not be interested at all.

There are currently over 8 million Scientologists in more that 150 countries world wide. However we are a new religion, only 53 years old. Currently Scientology is expanding at an amazing rate compared to it's first 40 years. This is because most of the major battles with opposition from "vested interest" have now been won. The first 40 years were pretty tough, but now Scientology can concentrate on achieving it's aims and goals instead of fighting for it's very existence.
The true story of Scientology as a religion goes like this:
1. A philosopher develop es a philosophy about life and death.
2. People find it interesting.
3. People find it works.
4. People pass it along to others.
5. It grows.
