hum mm....i'm watching south park and it's the episode about Stan being the chosen one and tom cruise being in the closet...question is this, they were telling about the aliens coming down and a soul Cather in the sky, underneath they said "that's what they really believe in"...i was wondering if that is true? do they believe aliens made us? that they brain swashed the souls and also the have soul gatherers and the leader is Xeno or something like that? thank u!
They believe that are bodies are "hosts" to evil alien spirits, and you can only get rid of the spirits through "cleansing" rituals. Which, of course, you have to pay the Scientology Church to do.
Scientology was invented by a science fiction writer named "L Ron Hubbard." He was a fiction writer before ever thinking about Scientology. The only reason that Scientology is a religion is because he liked the idea of religions in the United States being tax exempt. If you want to know what he believes, read a book called "Dianetics" which is the basis for Scientology.

They believe we were originally aliens, and we are constantly reincarnating when we die, but we choose not to remember our alien heritage. When you earn higher "OT" levels you get regression therapy which helps you remember your alien roots, and you gain special mental powers. Yep, that's what they really believe in.

4. It believes 'the end justifies the means' in order to solicit funds & recruit people.

I'm a Scientologist and I want to clarify that the story of Xeno is just a fable and no Scientologist believe it to be true. In fact most Scientologist I have meet haven't even heard the story. Scientology is much like Buddhism but instead of meditation the use auditing with the same goal and better results.
Also there is no such thing as a body the tan. A the tan is the colloquial name that Scientologist call the human spirit. But there is no such thing as body the tans.

As a Scientologist (for over 34 years) I can answer your question:
South Park is a satirical TV cartoon show. One that seems to specialize in "religion bashing" for some reason best known to it's creators. Mostly South Park gets it's yuks from joking and degrading about other people, which is pretty sad, since it's not really true satire.
Scientology is not a "belief system", so your question: Is this what we really believe? is answered by this fact.
To answer this further, here is a good, simple description of what Scientology actually is:
Scientology is an applied religious philosophy. When I say "applied" I mean you actually use it in your life to change or improve existing conditions. This is different from a religious practice. All religions if you learn about them have a basic philosophy, but they also have certain dogma, rituals and observances, and a certain faith or belief is required. There is nothing wrong with this, but Scientology is not that kind of religion. It does not intrude on any ones faiths of beliefs particularly in the area of God , the Supreme Being, or the Infinite. This area is left totally up to the individual, which is why you can be a practicing Jew,for example and still use and apply the principles of Scientology in your life. It does not conflict. If anything it will enhance your understanding of your chosen religious practice.
You can have no specific religious beliefs and still benefit from using it.
And it is only true for you according to your own observation and experience with it.

Anway, not all cytologistsST's about Xenu. Xenu is taught at OT III (OT = Operating Thetan), and the event concerning Xena is also known as the wall of fire. This is a fairly high up level in the Church, and for Scieno's, is steeped in mystery and the promise of ulimate freedom. They are not allowed to talk about it, esp. with other scientologists as Hubbard taught even the knowledge of it could kill or send crazy the unprepared... Yes L R Hubbard was an outright lunatic.
So by the time you get to OT III, you have spent in the region of 200,000 and could easily spend that again. You have also gone through most likely over a decade of mind and social control, whereby your critical thinking skills are eroded, and your ability to make correct judgements plummets, esp. with regard to scientology and LRH.
So is it true? I mean I can say it is, they can say it isn't, but can we prove it? YES I CAN.
