Most of the Bible is about burning, drowning, plaguing and/or stoning people to death. So maybe it belongs in the sadomasochism section of a porn shop. It is worse than Scientology because Scientologists don't murder people who don't think like them the way Christians do.

I used to think it was all a load of rubbish too, until God made Himself real to me which was a bit of a surprise. Then I had to decide, if I know God is really there, I don't want to follow any body's truth but His, and so I put my faith in the Bible being His word and by following Jesus that way my life is better and I'm truly free. Don't know anything much about Scientology except one of our pastors was caught up in that cult and God set him free from that too.
The Bible is a historical document well founded and used as a great resource in archeology. It's books are dated and it's prophecies have come true exactly as written... so the Bible is more than a normal book. Scientology is a cult and teaches stuff that is contrary to the Bible. 2 Timothy 3:16 teaches that all Scripture is profitable for teaching, correction, and training in character and being just.
Show me 1 thing in the bible that is fiction. the bible has been around for centuries, It is the greatest history book ever written.Not one word of the bible has changed in 5000yrs. Do you know of any other book that has been around that long?

Though I'm Muslim i believe in all God's books such as the Bible. The bible holds the teachings of God that he wants people to live according to so they wouldn't lose their way. All i know is that Jesus the Christ went through hardships so he can teach us and make us reach salvation. He went through pains and horrible things for our sakes and to show us the message he got from God . You should pay more respect to God and the Christ so you can live happily in this world. The Christ didn't go through all this so a young man like you would simply ridicules the Bible while sitting comfortably on a couch with the TV. remote control in his hand!!!!
the bible ain't science fiction. the Bible is the book you should follow and live by. it is like a road map to heaven. don't you want to go to heaven? you should and maybe you should start reading it. it will teach you alto of things you need to know to survive in the world.
