So here's the thing.. I was raised roman-catholic. My parents weren't really strict and we went to Chic every other week. When I was 13 my parents divorced. My mother came to marry a Scientology's about 2 months ago. She's now really into it and my two half-brothers too. I've heard some weird stuff about the Scientology church but my mom says these are all lies and Scientology is just trying to help people. Her husband said that if I wanted to be trulyLyappy I should join the church and get cleaned. I don't know why but I feel like he had a point. What should I do?
Do some research. Scientology is a manipulative money-obsessed cult invented by a hack science fiction writer, who made a bet that he could start his own religion. The only thing that will get cleaned is all your future income.
keep neutral for now until you can say for yourself what you hand on heart truly believe in. Although I would suggest that you try and keep your faith in god.

I'm Scientologist too and I would recommend you to see before you decide. This means that a wise man looks directly the sources and non leasing to rumors and gossips.
