Scientology is no less believable than any other religion. It's only bad because they scam you out of thousands of dollars. Though if your rich I guess it doesn't matter either way.

The second link talks about a former Scientologist who dealt with Tom Cruise.

They don't blow stuff up or molest altar boys, so it's probably less harmful than mainline religion. And anyone who believes in talking donkeys and parting seas has no business ridiculing other religions.

They actively recruit celebrities with their "Celebrity Centers," so it's really no surprise there's so many celebrities involved with Scientology. From what I've heard about Scientology, the possibilities for financial ruin, psychological issues (since they think Scientology can "fix" all the psychiatric problems in the world), and possible physical harm (the Sea Org's prisons for bad Sea Org members being one example) is high. Let's not forget about Operation Snow White as well, which Hubbard's wife was personally involved in and did jail time for.

I give it a 5.8 on the danger scale and a 9.7 on the silliness scale.

A lot of celebrities are in it CZ it makes them feel smart when they say "I'm a Scientology's!" (celebrities aren't smart)

The real danger of Scientology is that it has too many front organizations, whose purpose is to trick unsuspecting people into joining them.

Right now they are trying to recruit people in Middle East and Asia. Those people don't know what Scientology really is.

Probably if you asked all the celebrities that are "in it " why, they would tell you that it works for them.
