Because isn't it obvious that many years ago a bunch of the tans were thrown in volcanoes and forced to watch 3D movies about false religions and then infest our ancestors and now we have to get rid of them?

The funny thing is. It still makes more sense than Christianity.

I spent one week with them in 1979. I thought I might try their introductory 'self-improvement' course. They had me spend 3 to 4 hours a day with them for 5 days. I was excited and pumped and ready for another class the next week, and the only thing that prevented me from doing so was I was broke at the time.
The Scientologists had a deal they'd offer to some of the students in their center where if they distributed a lot of their multiple-guess personality tests (people would fill it out, and mail it in to them, and they'd score it and call you for an appointment to come in), they'd let you work off your bills to them in that way.
But . . .
Over the weekend I was in school and I stopped by the school library to see if there were any books about Scientology. What I found persuaded me not to return.

So . . .

Because they do not know that Catholicism is the One True Faith, as they would if they were to practice devotion to Mary, the mother of Jesus.

Because it works for them. The same reason you believe as you do and have the right to continue to do so without intolerance.

Because Scientology uses techniques that are very effective at persuading, brainwashing and hypnotizing people.

Still, there are very few people that join it at this point, since everyone can access the truth about them on the Internet. There was a very noticeable drop in Scientology's population in the last few years.

Simple. It had the answers to what I'd been searching for my whole life. I've been in over 30 years now.
