Was just watching a prig on it - seems well controlling & dodgy. Also have seen film whereby the founders son was saying that many of their 'scriptures' are based on findings when he and his father were high on amphetamines.
No more evil than any other religion. And before people get on Scientology for demanding money... remember: evangelical pastors' Rolls Royce's don't buy themselves, and the Vatican ain't an outhouse.
I just watched the same pro gramme, I do not know, though from viewing this pro gramme, I was left with the feeling that there is something not quite right about a "religion" that insists on following another human who wants to simply ask questions and discover more about this "religion".
Jesus said who is not with me is against me, so taking that in consideration. It goes against the principles of my belief. Now if you understand that God is the Good, that means everything against him is evil.
The son you are referring to is Ronald DeWolf who later admitted he lied about most things he said about his father. He only claimed that the book "a history of man" was based off of research while Hubbard was high on amphetamines and that he was giving his father those drugs.
But he wasn't in contact with his father at that time and later said he made it up. do some research rather than using already refuted claims.
And considering all of Hubbards books are anti drugs, starting from his very first book on Dianetics, it wouldn't make sense for him to use drugs while being audited.
