What is the agenda behind scientology?

Do cytologistsSdishonestly believe in it or is there something sinister going on behind it? And what's with the celebrity cent re? I'm in the mood for some conspiracy theories... Does anyone have any regarding Scientology and any secret agendas they might have?

It's a false doctrine, one of many. Nothing new.

The almighty dollar.

tax write off for the stupidly insanely rich that dint want to give their money to something more beneficial.

I don't know what the agenda is... I do know that I didn't hate Tom Cruise until he became the voice of Scientology. He seemed like much less of a jerk before that.

Money.

They've become tax exempt in many countries and you can't be a Scientology's unless you've paid them.

Control, power and cash .. it is a religion, it is what they do.

Edit: It does not have religious or charitable status in many countries, the UK and Canada for example. Germany regards it as a business.

Power, money, and control -- like all theistic religions. Religion is nothing more than an ontological fallacy perpetuated to subjugate the underclass into obedience.

This is our agenda:

A PRAYER FOR TOTAL FREEDOM

May the author of the universe enable all men to reach an understanding of their spiritual nature.

May awareness and understanding of life expand, so that all may come to know the author of the universe.

And may others also reach this understanding which brings Total Freedom.

At this time, we think of those whose liberty is threatened; of those who have suffered imprisonment for their beliefs; of those who are enslaved or martyred, and for all those who are brutalized, trapped or attacked.

We pray that human rights will be preserved so that all people may believe and worship freely, so that freedom will once again be seen in our land.

Freedom from war, and poverty, and want; freedom to be; freedom to do and freedom to have.

Freedom to use and understand Man?s potential?a potential that is God-given and Godlike.

And freedom to achieve that understanding and awareness that is Total Freedom.

May God let it be so.
