Can you shed some light on Scientology?

There are a lot of generalizations - their theories on how how life was created, what happens with the volcanoes and Xenu and all that (the story part). But all religions have the "story" (creation story, etc.) but they also have rules/ethics/philosophies to live by which is the part people focus on (and obviously that must be what attracts people to the religion in the first place). Can someone POLITELY share these ideas without saying for the nth time it's a cult and all that jargon? But instead what the other parts of it are all about?
There could be bad parts found in all religions. I'm just asking for the good things they believe in (otherwise how would it be so successful and last for so long? I guess you have to pay to find out what they are and is it worth it?)

In the beginning God created everything then he created Adam and Eve Then the snake(Satan) told them to eat out of the tree of knowledge(of the world/science) and then become enlightened, like God(gods). Okay to answer your question, there are false prophets and the snake is still to this day telling us that we can reach God though eating from the tree of knowledge and we keep falling into it. The main idea of Scientology is that humans have thousands of alien souls living inside them (not kidding)
