Default Can I just walk into a sermon or something at the Church of Scientology?

There's a Church of Scientology near me and I've always wondered if they allow people to walk in or if I need to sign up or something. Anybody know?

They have to hook you up to a gullibility tester first to see if you're gullible enough.

You will need a lot of money to anything with them. Don't bother.

Just walk in and tell reception that you're interested in finding out about it. It's that simple

It's false data that you're not allowed in without signing up for something. I know because I'm a Scientologist and have been for 39 years. There are lots of services that cost nothing. There's a library that you can use to read the books. Free. There are seminars where you can learn to audit and get auditing for less than $30. (You pay for materials and supervision is all).

There's too much false data about prices going on. Check it out for yourself.

You have to sign up for their programs or they won't let you past the lobby. Signing up takes money; I don't mean donations like where the plate is passed, I mean money like put up or shut up.

Why would you want to? Simple curiosity? Tons of information about Scientology on the net already. It's a hokum "religion" that is really little more than a scam to bilk people out of lots and lots of money. It was started by a failed science fiction writer. Think about that.

You'll be able to walk in and learn a few things, but keep in mind that they start indoctrinating people as soon as they walk in.

If you decide to give it a go, I'd recommend you to familiarize yourself with what is going on in there before you do it:
