'beauty treatments' ? Debatable.
haircuts ? Look, I think Scientology is a total scam but I'm pretty sure a hair cut speaks for itself no matter who it's from.

I bet they try to brainwash you as they do them. That would be annoying (or funny, actually - depends on my mood that day).

I'm going to venture a guess here that you completely ignored the statement by the Church rep that this was to promote the Way to Happiness program (see link). Instead the "news" chose to make it about something else, again ignoring the reason given as promoting the Way to Happiness. Heaven forbid that they would say anything about that since promoting taking care of oneself isn't controversial enough.

No, the $10 is rubbish, but they do offer a $250 professional one if you are interested. Just imagine the conversation while you are getting that haircut, I'm falling asleep just thinking about it.

What cracked me up most was the singer and the backing choir trying to be like those black gospel choirs swaying and clapping hands, big Lil.

The whole ploy is see through to the bone, its just bait and switch again. They are using the simple idea that doing these beauty treatments does make you feel better about yourself. Unfortunately they have shot themselves in the foot again, spirituality has nothing to do with such shallow concerns as eyebrow plucking, they have really made themselves look complete fools. As many people said, its just creepy.

Its also funny that it does not supply free help but it can spend all that money on lavish property and top of the line facilities. Can I ask does Scientology help with the homeless? Does Scientology donate money maybe for say things like hospital equipment or day trips for poor kids? I am betting no, but please correct me if I am wrong. All the charities that cytologistsStension are just the front group ones they operate - Nanon, ch hr, the youth one etc. Theta Works has answered other questions and offered her opinion that free help to the needy is "criminal" which goes to show how the corporation of Scientology brainwashes people with such nonsense.
