aliens were enslaved long ago and were somehow drained of their souls and put into monkeys. monkeys evolved into us making us aliens. or some such bullshit.
Its a load of bollocks, Ron Hubbard even said once 'the best way to make millions is to start a religion'!!
look it up in wiped,DOA has even been speculated as to be a future mass suicide risk.
its all a bit silly really, ron hubbard just says these things and has nothing to back them up not even speculative evidence and the fools go there, worship him and give more money the higher up the ranks they go!!
The Church says that Scientology is concerned with "the study and handling of the spirit in relationship to itself, others and all of life."[9] By contrast, Dianetics is more narrowly focused on getting rid of the reactive mind, the "bank" of traumatic memories known as engrams which are said to inhibit ones success and happiness.[10] Scientology also covers topics such as ethics and morality (The Way to Happiness), drug and chemical residues as they relate to spiritual well being (the Purification Rundown), communication, marriage, raising children, work-related problems, education (Study Technology), and the very nature of life (The Dynamics).
Scientology practices are structured in sequential series or levels, reflecting Hubbard's belief that rehabilitation takes place on a step-by-step "gradient"; for example, that the negative effects of drugs must be addressed before other issues can be "handled". Scientologists follow a sequence of courses that culminate in the esoteric advanced strata of Scientology's teachings. This is described as a passage along "the Bridge to Total Freedom", or simply "the Bridge," in which each step of the Bridge promises a little more personal freedom in some particular area of life.
Some central tenets of Scientology:
A person is an immortal spiritual being (termed a the tan) who possesses a mind and a body.[citation needed]
The the tan has lived through many past lives and will continue to live beyond the death of the body.
Through the Scientology process of "auditing", one can free oneself of "engrams" and "implants" to reach the state of "Clear", and after that, the state of "Operating Thetan". Each state is said to represent recovering the native spiritual abilities of the individual, and to confer dramatic mental and physical benefits.
A person is basically good, but becomes "aerated" by moments of pain and unconsciousness in his or her life.
What is true for you is what you have observed yourself. No beliefs should be forced as "true" on anyone. Thus, the tenets of Scientology are expected to be tested and seen to either be true or not by Scientology practitioners.
Psychiatry and psychology are evil and abusive.[11]
Scientology claims to offer "exact" methods of spiritual counseling to help people achieve awareness of their spiritual existence, while enhancing their effectiveness in the physical world. According to the Church, the ultimate goal is to get the soul (the tan) back to its native state of total freedom, thus gaining control over matter, energy, space, time, thoughts, form, and life. This freed state is called Operating Thetan, or OT for short.
Its a personal belief really, i can't say whether its rubbish or not as i haven't really looked into it
It's basically a crazy cult started by the science fiction author L. Ron Hubbard. It is basically a religion about aliens and gods from outer space. It borrows heavily from Von Danika and really is crazy.
BUT it does not seem crazy at first - oh no! It is clever like that. It uses small, logical increments of reasoning to slowly win you over into believing a lot of crazy things are real.
I am very interested inn theology and religions in general and have looked into most major world religions and all of them have a lot of merits, but I find precious little merit in Scientology.
You know that episode of the Simpsons with the Leader and the cult where the whole family are converted over to working as slaves for free - that is not too dissimilar to Scientology.
It's ideas are just TOO crazy and involved to go into, without knowing how much details you want
aliens, aliens spirits, nuclear war....the core beliefs of it are just sci-fie crap (the guy who invented $Scientology was a sci-fie writer - L Ron Hubbarb)
This site: http://www.xenu.net should answer all you questions, plus (if you like 'south park') you can download the full 'south park' about $Scientology, that they refused to show on British TV - it's rude (especially about tom cruise and R Kelly) but it does actually explain the REAL CORE BELIEFS of the cult.
I saw a documentary on it recently. A Sikh reporter tried to investigate Scientology by becoming a member. He had to go to Russia to learn about it so he could go through his test, which was taken in Britain and seemed full of odd and intimate questions, for which the answer was not so important as the reaction.
Scientology sees unusually secretive, almost like the Masons. There are breakaway groups like in most religions, so there is no definitive idea of what it all means.
Its an amazing technology and works for everyone at its basic levels. Other than paying for ones advancement with cash and participation, its not a religious belief in a nefarious God, it teaches a belief in ones own abilities. Something hard to find anywhere except in sports participation, so if your not built to be a football star you can still build a persona that characterizes such positiveness and team participation using the lessons learned.
Take a look at Tom Cruise and see if you want to be like that.
It started out as a sci-fie novel. Then the author decided to make a religion/cult out of it sole for the fact that he was a gold digger. Which gives you an idea as to what their beliefs are. You are required to pay exorbitant amounts of money to increase your status, and even then, many people have said they didn't gain anything from it no matter how much money they gave.
Many celebs have been suckered into it. There have been a few celebs who have tried to get out of it for good, but because it is so powerful, they even have control over the celebs careers and public images and can destroy them at will.
But honestly, Tom Cruise is an excellent example. During the filming of War of the Worlds, Steven Spielberg even commented that the Scientologists were an annoyance when they completely took over their first aid trailer. I believe that was in addition to proselytizing their cult, which they had no business doing in the first place.
That said, it can only be amazing in the train wreck way. Otherwise it's the biggest load of crap you'll probably ever see.
You should never be expected to pay a dime to believe in something.
a brief description of Scientology is that long ago aliens shot humans over in pods to earth and let us live and grow. and we all have little energy running through us. there are good energy's and bad energy's. and over time the bad energy get flushed out. and that some glorious day the aliens will come back for us....
at least that's what i heard aim not sure if that's right but that's the basics of it.
