Shi'a The Shi'a constitute 10–20% of Islam and are its second-largest branch.[9][12] They believe in the political and religious leadership of Imams from the progeny of Ali ibn Abi Talib, who according to most Shi'a are in a state of ismah, meaning infallibility

Default To Shi'as who approve of mut'ah?

Do you feel enthusiastic to learn your sisters, daughters and mothers are being put under a Utah contract and being used? For the female Shi'a sisters, how would you feel about a Mut'ah contract and knowing the suitor just wants to use you for your beauty and youth and nothing else? Violated, I imagine?
Myotismon: How would you feel about your closest female relatives to be involved in such an act?

I can sense you're discomfort, but don't you people regard it as a "sun nah"? Please verify.

Salam, no one is forced to do Utah, it is their choice and as anyone get tin married, they should know who they are getting married with if they do not want to be used.

My mum is married so it's out of question.

as for female sisters: if they are adult and responsible (independent, which they aren't) then they can do what they want.. Mata is not only about sex..

I know someone who didn't have Mariam to go hajj so she married Mata to his youngest son 12yo for 2 months.. this way she was allowed to hajj with them as they became her Mariam, and was she returned, they nullified the marriage.. end of story

if suitors are looking to satisfy their desire, then why are you agreeing on it unless you have the same intention??? Because no one is forced in Mata marriage..

As for the question you pointed to motorman;

Why should he care what relatives do?? everyone is accountable for their deeds.. and by our laws it's not a sin.. thus, why should he be against it to begin with?? if both his relative female or my relative female satisfies the conditions of permissibility of Mata, then so be it..

And if it is that bad as you consider it to be, does that mean the prophet allowed it knowing all these bad things about if for a long period of time.? If it was that bad, he wouldn't allow it to begin with right???

Isn't it a bit hypocritical to ask this question since Utah was started by Allah...your deity? Even if you don't believe it's allowed now, your Allah once allowed this form of prostitution. Why did Allah allow sin?
