Default Where would be good to have a Shinto marriage in Japan not Tokyo or Kyoto?

My boyfriend and I are talking marriage and he wants to have a Shinto ceremony in Japan. I like the idea but would like to go to a shrine off the beaten path a bit. Also if you know how much a marriage ceremony will cost at the place you have suggested please let me know. Thanks

I want to add that while I am curious about expense it is only to know how much we need to have available we are aware it will be expensive. A Shinto wedding is very important to my boyfriend. Thanks

Nan Day? I believe that the cost of getting marriage should not be a problem for people who want to spend their life together. You should go to where you are comfortable the most. I would really suggest a place that is off the beaten path, it would be more romantic.

i got married at a Shinto shrine and let me tell you it is not cheap. you have to wear wedding kimono which is rented your fiancee will have to wear Harri Hakim (men's kimono which will also be rented. the service is in Japanese of course and a little difficult Japanese at that. guests introduce themselves to the other guests in Japanese. after the ceremony there is usually a reception which costs lots. forget how much it all cost but several millions of yen. many Japanese are now choosing to marry overseas to avoid the expense of japan. good luck if you want to go for it. you might try Namibia jink where i married, it's not off the beaten track, in fact it's right in the heart of Osaka, but you wouldn't know it once you're inside, it's like an oasis of calm. the priest also spoke some english, but don't know if he's still there.

Marriage ceremony at Shinto shrine will cost a few thousands dollar.
If you throw a party at the same place,it will cost at least
20 thousands dollar.
