you can practice whatever you feel like. You're your own person.

Christianity cannot be blended into other religions and no other religion can be blended into Christianity. You either are a Christian with your complete heart, soul and mind, OR YOU ARE NOT.
yeah, it's called New Age, I think. Instead of giving your whole heart
to one, you choose only the things that make you comfortable from
each one. But you probably won't experience much growth either.
Darn, you sound like me a few months ago, before I made Pikanism out of my beliefs. I was an atheist-agnostic Pantheist Buddhist, but also somewhat Pagan and somewhat Christian.
I was looking for some way to make the description shorter, especially with the somewhats and the general confusion. I just stripped it all down to exactly what I believe, no more, no less, and took it from there.
Now the whole religion is technically just the Life Lights (the first five Buddhist precepts, re-worded to fit the language of one line from the Wiccan Rede), plus two of my own. Thrown into the mix is a heavily Nature based theme, but also a reverence of the teaching of Jesus. Pikans can even bring their own Gods, because the concept of God is actually optional, as long as one is willing to fit their God's law into the Life Lights.
More information can be found on my 360 bog, if you want.
In short, anybody can be anything they want, religiously. It is not up to the religious leaders to dictate others' lives. If people are thrown out of their churches, it only reflects on the closed Nature of such organizations. For those who worship a God, I am sure their God smiles upon them regardless of whether they fit these social groups.
Obviously not as the LORD God condemns worship of other 'gods' of whatever description. If anything replaces God in peoples hearts and lives it offends Him.
Look, the issue here which is repeated through many questions on this site is:
Is there One God or are there many?
The ans were is BOTH.
God, as the Universal indefinable, ineffable Source of all being is not a God.
All Gods, Spirits, Humans, Angels, Demons, Demigods, Ghosts, Animals and whatsoever other kinds of beings stream forth from His/Her infinite ongoing act of creation.
Whatever God you chose to worship or ally yourself with is your business and your journey. There are great Gods like for example the Mahadeva Shiva who you can totally trust because their purpose is one with the Great Spirit, the source of all; there are also minor Gods which you cannot trust because they are stuck in egocentricity. There are Angels whom you can trust and there are Demons who you can't trust but who can also give you clues and feedback regarding the results of your activity. At the end of the day the issue is primarily about engaging with creation with an open heart, devoted to the Creator and respectful of all aspects of the Creation.
I don't know enough about Shinto and Buddhism, but I can tell you for a fact that the only way you can combine Wicca and Christianity is by completely disregarding and dishonoring BOTH religions.
Wiccans don't believe in hell or original sin, thus no need for a Savior.
Christianity is all about the Savior.
I can go in much greater detail if you want, but please don't wreck both by changing the core concepts.
If you want to combine some kind of paganism with Christianity - please don't call yourself a Wiccan while you do it.
