I am & know about all the Shinto rituals, prayers, etc. However, I do not actually live in Japan... How can I practice the religion without a Shrine? Thanks ahead of time.
I don't really think you can practice Shinto without a shrine. You could perhaps construct your own shrine or see if there are some Shinto shrines wherever you live, though I doubt there are.
Shrine worship is an integral part of Shinto practice.
Some larger cities house more diverse religious structures. For example, Chinatown has Buddhist temples all over the place. You'll be likely to find one somewhere...
