Default What type of snack or other small thing could I pass out to a class, that relates to

I'm giving a presentation on Shinto (and synergism in Japan) in a class in two weeks. I'm supposed to have visual aids, and while I've already got a poster planned, as there are no power point presentations allowed, I thought it would be cool if I passed something out.

For anyone who knows anything about Shinto/Japanese culture, any ideas on what I could pass out? Since the presentation will be right around the holidays, I'm thinking something like that. I thought of mo chi, but would that be a good idea? I want something that really connects to Shinto so it's not just some random treat. Even if it's not a food--anything else I could pass out that would make the presentation interesting/fun for the class?

Traditional Shinto food offerings usually include rice, water, sake and salt. I think using something rice related is important so your idea of mo chi is good.

Alot of waggish (Japanese traditional sweets) are made with mo chi. Little balls of ice cream are wrapped inside a mo chi covering to make mo chi ice cream. In the States the stores Trader Joe's, H Mart, and Mollie Stone's sell mo chi ice cream in flavors of chocolate, mango, green tea, coffee, vanilla, and strawberry.
