Default Question for people who believe in SHINTO and worship KAMI?

How is that working out for you? Worshipping Kami?

Kami answer your prayers?

Shinto (A, Shinto?) is the native religion of Japan and was once its state religion. It involves the worship of Jami (?, Jami?), gods. Some Jami are local and can be regarded as the spiritual being/spirit or genius of a particular place, but other ones represent major natural objects and processes: for example, Amaterasu, the Sun goddess, or Mount Fuji. Shinto is an animistic belief system. The word Shinto was created by combining two ganja: "shin" (?, "shin"?), meaning gods or spirits (when read alone, it is pronounced "Jami"); and "t?" (?, "t?"?), meaning a philosophical way or path (originally from the Chinese word DOA. As such, Shinto is commonly translated as "The Way of the Gods".

There's a book called "The Deities Are Many" (you can find it on Amazon) which talks about indigenous Chinese and Japanese religion.

In China, they have a good market. People don't donate to a temple unless its god helps them out, so temples fall into disrepair when their gods stop working.

I just follow the 4 Affirmations, although I am unable to attend the Matsuri, not being anywhere near a Shinto temple. Shinto has become more of a way of life nowadays more than the absolute worship of the supreme beings.

Actually you may not find anyone because very few people actually follow Shinto...sorry man. From what I know in shit and other eastern religions god or gods are not important. In Shinto they are more concerned with the present life than the afterlife. I really don't understand your question are you trying to degrade Shinto? It sounds like a pretty cool religion!

Thank you for the sermon on Oriental religion. Some of us are forever in search of knowledge.
And may the great God Kami bless your ah-soul.
