What is this Shinto thing?

what is the thing in Shinto mythology thing called August-something-something that is associated with the planet Venus and which existed before the world and that I don't remember anything Else about because I can't find the encyclopedia page on it?

It could be the August grandchild of heaven that came to Japan from his heavenly rock seat. That is a creation story of Shinto, but since Shinto is a grouping (consolidation) of many smaller religious sects, there could be several creation stories. I am not really sure of the Venus connection, although it is likely that Venus (along with every other celestial body in our view) has a spiritual lore or story that explains it's role in the sky.
