The nearest one to you, that has a website anyway, is http://www.shinto.nl/ There may be some private shrines in the U.K. but you'd have to hunt around for them. Perhaps joining some of the Shinto mailing lists might give you a lead.
Shintoists seldom pray at a shrine--even when there is one close by. Usually they have a KatinaNat home. Shinto isn't a "go to church every Sunday to prove you're a member and give money" type of religion. It's about living your life in harmony with nature and society, so shrine visits aren't a big part of the religion. Typical reasons for a shrine visit are:
1. New Year celebration.
2. Hatsumiyamairi (first shine visit for babies)
3. Shichi-go-san and Seijinshiki (coming of age)
4. Weddings.
5. Various age related rituals.
