It does not have any deities and does not believe in statues or pictures that they define God in or as.

A Sikh is defined by the 5 K's: Kesh- (uncut hair-including arms,legs,armpits, & facial hair. To keep what god gave to you) Kirpan- (Physically-tool used to prevent violence to a defenseless person when all means to do so have failed. Symbolically- power of truth to cut through untruth) Kara- (constant reminder to Sikh to do God's work, to do good deeds, think it's good/bad b4 putting hand in to join) Kanga-( to remind a Sikh to remain clean and to keep the uncut hair untangled, neat, and clean. Cleanliness is the correct way) Kachera-( boxer short undergarment, Symbolizes: control their sexual desire & gives a feeling of dignity, modest and hon our to the person who wears it).
