Since Islam and Christianity are banning it, I wanted to know about Sikhism....
I have an acquaintance who likes to dress up- sometimes as a girl and sometimes as a guy, and he likes to wear pink clothes.... I have to admit, I'm not very open to gays so I sometimes avoid him... and I apologize to God for this
Mostly he feels more confident and fierce when he dresses up as a girl.... so he likes being a girl more...
He wants religious advice. What does Sikhism say about being gay?
Serious answers please.....
NO ... Gays , cigarette smokers ,,, wee toke takers ... or heart breakers .... Sin is sin ....!
But can be forgiven by Jesus ... !
Why have any God ?
Just throw him out and be your own ruler ?
(Romans 1:18 KJV) For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
(Romans 1:19 KJV) Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
(Romans 1:20 KJV) For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
(Romans 1:21 KJV) Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
(Romans 1:22 KJV) Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
(Romans 1:23 KJV) And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four footed beasts, and creeping things.
The Rest of THE Stoooorie ....
(Romans 1:24 KJV) Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
(Romans 1:25 KJV) Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
(Romans 1:26 KJV) For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
(Romans 1:27 KJV) And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
(Romans 1:28 KJV) And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
(Romans 1:29 KJV) Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
(Romans 1:30 KJV) Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
(Romans 1:31 KJV) Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
(Romans 1:32 KJV) Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
When you finally get your broken mind ...............
have a big whoop ....
and then you die ....
and then the Judgement .......

You fill in the Blanks!
God stops listening!
Zechariah 11
11 But they refused to heed, shrugged their shoulders, and stopped their ears so that they could not hear.
12 Yes, they made their hearts like flint, refusing to hear the law and the words which the LORD of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets. Thus great wrath came from the LORD of hosts.
13 Therefore it happened, that just as He proclaimed and they would not hear, so they called out and I would not listen,? says the LORD of hosts.
Adam and Eve sinned against God they were put out of the perfect world He created them in and put on the earth as we know it.
The Sikh holy book, the Guru Granth Sahib, is the highest authority in the Sikhism, it is seen as the 11Th and eternal Guru. It serves as a guide to Sikhs on how to live positive lives, and details what behavior is expected of all Sikhs. It is seemingly silent on the subject of homosexuality; however, married life is encouraged time and time again in Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Whenever marriage is mentioned, it is always in reference only between one man and one woman. Some Sikhs believe that Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the complete guide to life, and if a marriage between two of the same sexes is not mentioned, it is therefore not right.
There are five vices (habitual desires) outlined in the Guru Granth Sahib that one should try to control. One of these vices is lust, and some Sikhs believe that homosexual thoughts and behavior are just manifestations of lust. However, Sikhs that are more accepting of homosexuality claim that this is equally applicable to heterosexuals. These same Sikhs believe that Guru Nanak's emphasis on universal equality and unity is fundamentally in support of the human rights of the LGBTQI community.
Views on homosexuality tend not to be a primary concern in Sikh teachings as the universal goal of a Sikh is to have no hate or animosity to any person, regardless of race, caste, color, creed, gender, or sexuality.
However,Giani Joginder Singh Vedanti, the highest temporal Sikh authority, has condemned homosexuality while reminding visiting Sikh-Canadian Members of Parliament (MPs) of their religious duty to oppose same-sex marriage.[1] In a report published in March 2005, Vedanti said, "The basic duty of Sikh MPs in Canada should be to support laws that stop this kind of practice homosexuality, because there are thousands of Sikhs living in Canada, to ensure that Sikhs do not fall prey to this practice." Speaking of MPs in favour of such relationships he continued, "The Sikh religion would never accept such MPs. Nobody would support such a person having such dirty thoughts in their mind because it is against the Sikh religion and the Sikh code of conduct and totally against the laws of nature. Sikhs around the world must maintain fidelity to these religious teachings," he argued, "and no politician is exempt".[2]
The supreme Sikh religious body, the Akal Takht, has issued an edict condemning gay marriage, and Vedanti's words were echoed by Manjit Singh Kalkatta, another highly respected Sikh preacher who sits on the governing body of the Golden Temple, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee. "The advice given by the highest Sikh temporal authority to every Sikh is saying that it is unnatural and ungodly, and the Sikh religion cannot support it."[2]
its not a matter of religion, these are our own __KARAMAS__ that some one born as a gay or with some other disability actually. this is not Ur friends fault its natural desire occur in some people like other bad wishes. every people are under influence of these bad wishes, some are keen to have money by any means, some about sex, some want praise.if Ur friend understand that it is unnatural and want to come out of this then there is very simple way in Sikhism, that is SIMRAN .SIMRAN is actually a PUKAR to creator of universe or a supreme power at early hours of morning, for help to solve our problems and when u continue this no problem can come near to u,in SHRI GURU GRANTH sahib JI there are solutions of every problem. there is a pharse
BABIHA AMRAT VELE BOLYA TAA DAR SUNI PUKAR
MEGHE NU FURMAN HOOAA VARSO KIRPA DHAR
(AS A SIKH U BETTER UNDERSTAND THIS GURMUKHI )
when ur friend or any other person start SIMRAN they will come out of all bad wishes ,unnatural habbits and all the problems.because thoughts of SATGURU ,RAM,MAADHOO, MURAAR, ALLAHA ,means any name of that supreme power and bad unnatural things cant stay togather at one place.dont try to fight with these bad habbits try to change ur direction.other expirence that person will get when he start doing SIMRAN .its like GUNGAE KI MITHIAE this knowledge comes from inside nobody have right to criticize them but give them right direction. we are all under influence of one or more bad habbits nobody is spare everybody knows inside. so try to make a society of good souls that help each other to become a good human being that understands others pain. "I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, and I bear witness that Mohammad is Allah's servant and His Messenger."
Islam comes from the root word ?salaam?, which means peace. It also means submitting one?s will to Allah (Set). Thus Islam is a religion of peace, which is acquired by submitting one?s will to the will of the Supreme Creator, Allah (Set)
The literal meaning of Islam is peace; surrender of one?s will i.e. losing oneself for the sake of God and surrendering one?s own pleasure for the pleasure of God. The message of Islam was revealed to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings on him) 1, 400 years ago. It was revealed through angel Gabriel (on whom be peace) and was thus preserved in the Holy Quran. The Holy Quran carries a Divine guarantee of safeguard from interpolation and it claims that it combines the best features of the earlier scriptures.
The prime message of Islam is the Unity of God, that the Creator of the world is One and He alone is worthy of worship and that Muhammad (peace and blessings on him) is His Messenger and Servant. The follower of this belief is thus a Muslim - a Muslim?s other beliefs are: God?s angels, previously revealed Books of God, all the prophets, from Adam to Jesus (peace be on them both), the Day of Judgement and indeed the Decree of God. A Muslim has five main duties to perform, namely; bearing witness to the Unity of God and Muhammad (peace and blessings on him) as His Messenger, observing the prescribed prayer, payment of Zakat, keeping the fasts of Ramadhan and performing the pilgrimage to Mecca.
