Since these are not monotheist groups, I assume (never a good idea to assume) these groups are distrusted more than Christians and Jews.

I do know the Hindus and Muslims have had very bad relations in India/Pakistan.

The opinion of Muslims is not relevant. They have no respect for other faiths or non-faiths so who gives a monkeys what they think of anyone.

Mrs Bewick: yes i love the tolerance you Kufr advocate for every religion or lack thereof, other than Islam.
Satanism? you say no problem!
Human sacrifice? Hey,different path but you have to respect other belief!
A pious Muslim? You despise.

status of Buddhism, Sikhism and Hinduism in Islam,is the same as their status in Paulanity,or Rabbism.
We know that Allah Natala sent nab and RaslaLio all peoples.
we cant say for sure that these people were not on the Haqq, but we
can say they have deviated from it now.
The same we cant call them people of the book, because their books are specifically listed in Kitab Allah.

SIkhism is monotheistic.
Buddhism is not a religion, it is more of a philosophy. Hinduism is both monotheistic but is among the guffaw because they are also polytheistic as they believe in a trinity:

Braahma
Vishnu
Shiva

Peace ?

Islam is intolerant
of these religions.

although Sikhism is
a form of monotheism,
Buddhism is technically
not a religion, it's more of
a life pathway,
and Hindus claim to believe
in one God that has
many different manifestations.

but Muhammad would have said
"convert or pay a tax or die."

[Pickthal 9:28] O ye who believe! The idolaters only are unclean. So let them not come near the Inviolable Place of Worship after this their year. If ye fear poverty (from the loss of their merchandise) Allah shall preserve you of His bounty if He will. Lo! Allah is Knower, Wise.

[Pickthal 9:29] Fight against such of those who have been given the Scripture as believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, and forbid not that which Allah hath forbidden by His messenger, and follow not the Religion of Truth, until they pay the tribute readily, being brought low.

Modern Islamic rules are ruled by Mullahs. Thus everyone who does not follow their ideas is a gaffer. Enlightened people can share and walk together but religion of a Mullah is only his own selfish thinking. Baba Farid is a very respected Muslim and every year millions of Muslims visits his shrine in Pakistan. His writings have found place in Sikh Scriptures called Guru Granth Sahib. Here is irony, they bow in front of Baba Farid but burnt his writing several times before division of India. As per God is concerned, Sikhs believe in one God and equality of all humans. Sikhs do not believe in idol worship.

Hinduism scriptures also mention Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
